The Complete Illustrated Breeder's Guide to Marine Aquarium Fishes

I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but looking through the pages it goes into great details on how to set up a breeding system!! Can't wait to dive in and discover everything inside! Book came in perfect condition! Pages are full of pics of different species of fish and illustrations to build and maintain a breeding system!! Love it!

Marine husbandry was once considered impossible but the last 40 years has proven this wrong. I found it difficult to get good information on this subject and I'm very glad I bought this book. Even if you don't plan to breed fish, it is amazing to read about (and see in the beautiful pictures) the breeding habits of some fish. For example, if you had 100+ babies, how long would you keep them in your mouth for? A great buy.

The book is Awesome, it was a gift for my husband and he loves it! However, as the one buying it I did not appreciate how long the seller took to ship it. I ordered it in the 2nd week of January and I got it This Week today is Feb 7th for clarification. Besides that the book is nice.

I am in the process of setting up a seahorse breeding system. The information contained in the book is very helpful in designing such a system. Lots of insights with attention to detail remove the elusiveness of this quest. The cookbook approach, specific to multiple breeds after a thorough coverage of requirements for succeeding, reveals a wealth of personal knowledge and experience by the author. Very much appreciated by one who has had some frustrating failures due to ignorance in the past.

In the better part of twenty years since Martin Moe Jr.'s benchmark references, there has scarcely been a book so useful and inspiring as this work. I suppose I could gush on about it's merits, but let me just say that in my personal collection of several hundred aquatic hobby/science references this book is soundly among my top 5 favorites. It is literally within reach and actively reread in my fishroom. You will be hard pressed to find a more dense and specific resource!

Very informative step by step processes to breed various types of marine fish.

best book ever, on the topic !

very nice, the book is still in very good condition eventhough this is a used book

There is no pad out at this book. It,s fully of technical information. Amazing.

For those who are seriously interested in marine fish breeding, this book by Matthew L. Wittenrish is a pleasure to read. Very well written with a easy understanding of breading practices.

La mejor compra de mi vida

Super Thema.. bin begeistert!
