Dell Inspiron i5559-4415SLV 15.6 Inch Touchscreen Laptop (Intel Core i5, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD, Silver Matte) Intel Real Sense

I don't know a lot about the technical components of a computer- memory size, ram, etc. but I do know that I like this computer. In fact, I'm typing this review on it right now. Perfect size for me- not too big, not too small. Love the touch screen. I know that tablets are all the rage right now but I really like a nice, solid laptop when I want to type something (like a review). Maybe I'm old fashioned but not so old fashioned that I'd use a type writer. And maybe you found this review useless. oh well.

Was working well dropped it a few times and hard drive failed Under warranty so have to deal with that next

perfect, so cheap , and convenient for me , I like the config ,6200 CPU, 8G,1T, amazing, powerful, so when I deel with my work such as office software. quickly ! beautiful cosmetic design. like it .

Excellent product. Problems with the keyboard but it is full functional

I am really liking this Dell Inspiron, it has a nice feel to it and great graphics.

I typically don't give bad reviews but this warrants it. I bought the computer as used/refurbished. I HIGHLY doubt it was refurbished. In fact, I'm willing to bet I know exactly why the first buyer returned it. There is an issue with either the graphics. The pic is great if you're just searching around the internet or FB. But play a game, or use Light room for Photoshop and suddenly you have horizontal lines and a flickering screen. Tech support said it was normal to remove battery, hold power button blah blah blah. Well, that only works once in awhile. Shutting down numerous times may work. This thing goes back soon as I reset to factory settings. Refurbished my butt!!

Excellent laptop. 1080p resolution. Only wish there was better than Windows 10 Home.

I was very disappointed that it did not have software to read DVDs. I am also struggling to find time to relearn everything that Windows 10 changed and moved around. I did not pay close enough attention when I purchased it to notice that Windows 10 was installed. I would not have made this purchase if I realized what version of windows was installed. I prefer PCs over Apples and have purchased many Dell products in the past, so my beef is not with Dell as much as MicroSoft Windows 10.

I am re-writing this review. Earlier I had given 1 star for this product since it faced mother-board issue 5 times. The good part was all repairs are at zero cost as it was covered in 2 year warranty. However - when i insisted that this is defective piece, Dell studied my case and gave me a really excellent (slightly better upgrade) as replacement. I am impressed by Dell service (not the repair vendors). Thanks !

Its really slow. Does not bootup fast and keeps hanging up... All this without any other software, photo, music etc installed... Very poor.. Dint expect this from dell.

I am so grateful to Amazon and Amazon logistics, as promised received the product yesterday morning. Box opened and started configuring as need much to load with VMware, WS r2, RHEL 6. Much more. Performance review shall be updated later.
