GoVenture Entrepreneur Simulation Software

Allright, I had purchased this game to accompany the textbook that was required for my Introduction to Entrepreneurship class at my local college. The game is relatively interesting, and is quite comprehensive in some regards. The goal of the game is to teach you skills necessary in running a business, and it is one of the most accurate business simulation games currently on the market. Yes, it isn't perfect, but it does get the point across. Can it be improved? Yes, but I'm sure that will come in subsequent versions. I wouldn't necessarily purchase it just to play for fun, but as required for class, it was a break from the norm.

I don't like the way your time starts running before you've hired employees, or received inventory. The tutorial skipped over that part and never went back. I think it has some benefit in that it does make you aware of all the aspects of starting a business, but I wasted an entire weekend trying to find a way to get inventory and get the employees working prior to customers coming to the business. At least it was less expensive online than it was at the college bookstore.

This product is required for a class I am taking and it won't allow me to play the simulation. I am able to log on to my profile online but when I go to play the simulation it won't let me log on. I only get on once and a while. It has got to the point where my grade is being effected and it is out of my control. I have contacted them multiple times before I got a response, and when I did get a response it was a call during the morning during class. I haven't been able to get back to them and still wait for a call during a time where I can answer. Terrible product, and service doesn't live up to what my teacher and their site makes it out to be. Very disappointed, waste of money, beg your teachers to come up with an alternative assignment.
