MERU Yoga Sling Backpack - Waterproof Crossbody Bag - Gym Travel Hiking Biking - Women, Men - GRAY

Was looking for a bag that I could ride my bike with and that would efficiently carry my large manduka yoga mat, a change of clothes for work, my Bluetooth headphones and my 13" Mac book air with being too bulky - I feel like that's asking a lot for one bag, but this bag nailed it all. Awesome quality, fits and feels great, only thing I don't love is the design of the logo patch, but that's a pretty petty complaint given how amazing this bag is otherwise.The slot on the side of the bag carries my water and the slot on strap carries my iPhone 6 in a think case, fits snugly but is awesome cause can quick glance at directions as riding bike.There are 4 separate compartments: a small front pouch, a 2nd medium pouch, 3rd large pouch, and 4th laptop-sized pouch. There's also a great little small zipped compartment in the 2nd medium pouch.

I love this multi-purpose backpack. I mainly use it to hold my workout gear which isn't much but having it all in one place is awesome. The only gripe I have with it is that the straps that hold the yoga mat aren't big enough to hold a thicker mat. My workouts include floor abdominal work and the yoga mat doesn't provide enough cushion for me. I wish Gecko Active sold an expander of some kind. However, as is, the backpack is sturdy, reliable, it feels great wearing and is very well made. I have a 17in laptop that didn't fit but that's not a deal breaker for me. I've used the strap to hold a small umbrella chair and mom gear to go to the park and it worked! Also, I love that you can wipe down the inside of the backpack with a Clorox wipe! All in all, it was a great buy.

I love this bag and it's exactly what I needed. I use it for Hot Yoga and put my dry clothes in one of the compartments and my towel and hand towel in the other. After I change after practice, I put my wet clothes in one and the wet towels in the other. There are ventilation holes and it's lined in a vinyl type of fabric so it's perfect. I don't know if I would keep the wet items in for too long, but I always throw them in the dirty clothes the minute I walk in the door. My Manduka Black Mat fits perfectly in the provided yoga mat bag. The price is also perfect! Thanks!! Love it!

Ok first the cons: the interior of the front smells like a tent, but that's where my gym clothes go so I don't care. You might if you are going carry around delicate clothing or the like. The back section (laptop sleeve) does not have this same smell. The other thing is that the strap clip in the front will loosen all the way if you pull the buckle forward - but now I know so it doesn't bother me.I walked home in the pouring rain with it and without an umbrella. While it wasn't 100 percent waterproof (mostly the front exterior pouches), the interior front section got a bit damp while the rear section was dry. Since I put my gym stuff in a plastic bag in the front section, only my shoes were a little damp. Not bad considering it was lashing rain.This is a great bag for walking to work, then to the gym, and then home again. I give it all the stars because for my purposes I love it.

I'm in yoga teacher training and this thang has gotten me through a year of fast track school and still seems brand new! Very durable considering my crazy busy life and lack of finesse, throwing it in my car or in my room. Perfect amount of pockets for me too.

I got this for my daily public transit commute. I wanted something large enough to fit my lunch, work shoes, water bottle, and laptop along with various small necessities (makeup, snacks etc.) and this was one of the largest sling bags I could find. It fits all of these items and I the yoga mat straps to hold an umbrella. There are no small slots for pens etc. in the smaller pockets, which is not a deal breaker but can be an annoyance. The phone holder on the strap (unsurprisingly) does not fit my Note 4, but it seems like it might be tight for some "standard" phones as well. When wearing the bag, you can access the small pocket zipper when you swing the bag around but need to remove the bag to access the larger pockets.I wanted a bigger sling bag that would carry all the stuff I need to bring to work with me everyday. This bag was designed as a workout bag, not a commuter bag, but the size is the best I have found and it works for what I needed.

I wanted to be able to keep all my gym stuff together in one bag and this one does it. And it's Good quality. I keep my bike shoes, resistance bands, hygiene items, towels, music, etc with plenty of room. Lots of pockets, which I love and really like the water bottle holder. One thing that's a small concern is the clasps on the side that hold the gym mat are hard for me to open with the arthritis in my hands but I'm glad to have the ability to carry the mat on the bag.

I wish there was a better quality backpack like this. It does the job, but the fabric is odd/cheap and it's really annoying that the pocket is on the opposite side as usual. So if you want to flip it around to the front of you to get something out, unlike a typical 1 shoulder bag, the pocket is facing the ground... hope that makes sense. Would probably buy it again, but would also pay more for the same style backpack in better quality/more efficient pocket placement.
