This light has a lot going for it at a fair price. The light has quality metal construction and a variety of mounting strap sizes. It attaches securely to the handlebars, but it also comes with a GoPro-style mount in case you want to go that route. It disconnects with a quarter turn, and you can quickly charge it with a USB-C plug, which I highly appreciate. The battery status check is also nice. I like the ability to adjust the light once it's mounted. I was able to fine-tune the position by pivoting it slightly to the left. It can also be nudged downwards until it's lined up properly. The light has plenty of brightness on the medium setting to handle a normal ride at dusk around a neighborhood without many street lights. It's about what my old 550-lumen light could do at max brightness. The high power setting is overkill for me, but it's nice to have the extra brightness if needed. You might need this if you were riding very fast downhill on a mountain bike. I have only used it once, so I can't comment on battery life, but I expect to get several rides between charges using it on the medium setting. I also appreciate keeping the blinking settings separate from the solid lights. I can access them if needed, but I can just turn it on, go with my previous brightness, and adjust as needed. If you are wondering whether this light is bright enough for your recreational riding around the neighborhood, it is. You don't need a more expensive light. Save your money vs. more expensive gear and get a nice light for the back of the bike as well.

Outstanding! This is my second Magicshine light, and it's fantastic. Great mounting options, perfect size and design. The battery life has been great so far, and the brightness is perfect 5-Stars all day long! Highly highly recommend

I bought this headlight after encountering a very dark tunnel on a rail to trail ... trail. This headlight is rechargeable via a USB-C connection which makes it easy to charge. It has three power levels and also features a strobe mode. The connection to my handlebars is very secure. The headlight attaches to and comes out of the mount with a simple twist. I had the opportunity to test this light in a low light condition and it was perfectly capable of illuminating the road in front of my bike and beyond.

I bought the Allty 600 by recommendation of a friend, and I couldn't be happier. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of materials as I was expecting a cheap plastic at this price point but it's a very sturdy metal chassis around this LED with some real weight to it. The value totally blew me away, especially when I saw the prices for similar products at my local bike shop. It was very easy to install securely and did not wobble or loosen during my ride. At maximum brightness, it lasted a little over 90 minutes for me which was more than enough for my night ride and the product page says 1.5 hours so it's listed properly by my experience. Personally, I found the 600 to be more than sufficient even for wooded unlit trails, although my friend got the 1200 and seems to prefer that. The 600 lumens gave me plenty of distance with the light when angled properly and lit the road ahead of me very clearly, I felt totally safe riding with this on without feeling the need to rider slower. If you're new to night riding, as a courtesy to other riders, especially if you're getting the very high lumen models, please make sure your light is angled down slightly so as to not be shining directly in their eyes as they approach, and consider lowering the brightness until you pass if it's safe. I can't tell you how annoying this is to be on the receiving end. If you're worried about battery life, it may be a better idea to get the stronger light and simply set it to a lower brightness for longevity, as the Allty 1200 has a much larger 4000mah battery (compared to the Allty 600's 1600mah). Setting the Allty 1200 to the equivalent of the 600's brightness would get you more hours. Customer service for Magicshine was also excellent. They were very quick to respond to my issue and resolved it right away. This is an easy recommendation for me.

Shoutout to the designers on this! Love how clean and easy to use it is. There aren't distracting bells and whistles. Nice and bright and multiple modes. Lasts >2hrs for me on full power. LED battery indicators are simple and easy to understand. Great mount design. USB-C means one fewer cable to worry about. "Anti-glare" get's a "meh" from me, as does using the light as a phone charger (but helpful in a pinch). Buying from Allty made me feel happy. Specialists in bike lights. It makes me feel like I'm supporting people who love doing what they do and my purchase goes towards cool jobs.

Bought 4 for our family. Amazingly bright, easy-to-charge, good-enough battery life. Easy to pull off the handlebars when locking the bike. Used for daytime flashers and nighttime city rides. Very happy... when they work. At about 4 months, one started to have weird response to charging. Now it doesn't turn on at all. Hoping it was just a dud and the other 3 will last. I'll contact the company and see what they have to say.

The Allty400 was what I was looking for in terms of size, light output, and mounting design. The light performed great for the first year with no hiccups but one day I charged the battery to full but when I unplugged the unit it would blink red signaling low battery. I reached out to magicshine and they diagnosed the problem to be a faulty unit so they dispatched a replacement right away and I was back on the road in a couple of days. Great customer support!
