I really like this! Shorter than I expected, but does the trick perfectly. It’s the same height as a mini 7 oz soda can, but fits perfectly in my 2026 Nissan Kicks. Pics in cup holders show it next to a 12 oz. soda can right behind it. Fits properly in my cup holders, no flopping around, but easy to remove. The cover stays securely open when using, and snaps closed when done. A place to keep your cigarette when lit, and a good amount of space to snuff it out. I’m a safety freak and put salt or coffee grounds in the bottom just in case a few sparks may roll around., but other reviews said it would not melt. Very easy to empty and clean. Close the top, hold it over a trash bin and unscrew the bottom. Very easy to wash out. They did send a cleaning brush, cleaning tool and extra battery as well. Not too concerned with whether or not you can smell the dead buds, as I tend to remove it daily, and also, the coffee grounds kinda help. But I can’t smell them unless the lid is open. Live in FL where the heat makes everything in a car smell worse, and so far, it’s doing its job as it said it would. Def worth the price. I’ve had others, more pricey, but the top was loose and frequently closed on it own, but this one stays open until you close it. Def worth a try, but if you’re a cigar smoker, there’s no way the gripper is wide enough for a stogie. Holds onto your cigarette though, without ripping or tearing.

I got this because even though I smoke I do make efforts to never litter the butts. The built in light is actually kinda annoying if you have night blindness like I do haha, but besides that it works fine. Ive been able to just drop cigarettes straight in there without even crushing the cherry out and they have gone out but I of course highly recommend always making sure the cherry is crushed and the lid is shut after your dispose of the butt ! It’s easy to empty and I like that it keeps ash out of my back seat (cause as all smokers know it’s inevitable when you’re going to ash out a window while driving). It also completely muffles the smell of the cigarette butts, my car does not smell like an ash tray. No need to put water in it or anything either. I will say though that the light kind of began to break only two months in to having this thing and now it kind of just flickers, but as I stated before the light bothered me anyway so I don’t really care that it’s gone out. Also the sun/heat ended up warping the lid to it but like just the rubber part in the center the actual lid still completely closes and works just fine.

It works great. Nothing is malfunctioning. The sides do not get burnt. Easy to empty and clean. I have had it for a couple months and the light is still working. Sleek design too. I bought this for my home to help eliminate odor and it does just that. The open slot in the back is small so not a lot of extinguishing smoke escapes. Update December 2021: This is the second time buying this product. My first ashtray is still functioning perfectly! I bought a second one for my car. I bought it in all black this time (the first time I purchased the black and gray). It is still a sleek design. Everything is functioning. However, on the first ashtray, this next statement will be the third update on this feature: the light did finally stop working, but truthfully I’m not worried about the light not working. If you are expecting a very long life span for ashtray lights, that is something I have never had happen on any ashtrays I have owned. The lights just aren’t meant to last forever. :) So I would not let this downfall sway your buying decision.

Works as an ash tray the light died quickly and the little grip circle sticker on top peeled within a week not smell proof but its an ashtray

This product is easy to clean and doesn't need charging. Has replacement battery and works great for car.

This ashtray is great, I like the little light that’s on when it’s opened. It’s a good sized and quality item. It’s hard to say if it’s smell proof because my car smells like smoke anyways. I also like the little tool it came with to clean, and it’s nice it came with an extra battery !

Does not stay charged even if it's direct Sunlight for a Hour

Easy to clean

Works well. Seals very well when lid is closed. Light could be a bit brighter and it doesnt work when real cold but that is an LED trait. Hopefully battery lasts as it looks to be difficult to replace battery
