Peek a boo, I see you!
Well, after placing it on my schoolroom door people who were outside directly in front of it can see inside. So I had to but another screen adhesive (rice paper) and stick it on the back of this and finally! I get light coming in but nobody can see in. They just see the gold film on the outside.

cut off a few pieces and test your skills first. prick bubbles with a pin and squeeze them out
Used as part of a mask for my grandson, his eyes and mouth were reflective

Remember to remove the backing
ok, so I had to edit this because I’m dumb. There is a backing on here but it is very difficult to get off. Once you do though, have everything ready and soapy water it up. I used a test piece after my dumb self found an edge for the film, it sticks without the water, but bubbles form quick. Use the water and don’t be dumb like me.

Not as gold as showed and lots of bends when applied.
Gold is extremely translucent. Extremely time costing to get the adhesive film off. Water didn’t help nor soap and water. Static didn’t work. Total all. 10 dollars wasted Had to cut a small piece and make a aggressive tear to the edge to wave it up to even slide a razor into the edge

Doesn’t shrink
If you’ve worked with tint a fair amount you know you need shrinkability to work around curves and bends. This tint does not want to shrink so it’s really not suitable for a multi curved surface.

Pretty good product actually
Works exactly as described. Use LOTS of soapy water, as the directions say to. I was happy with the final outcome. I bought a few more for other windows.

Good tint for a reasonable price
Quick delivery and product was as described. The mirror tint was exactly what I was looking for at a much better price than the automotive store.
