I wanted to try some lighting effects with fibre optic cable. Knowing nothing about it I bought these. First, turned out they’re what I needed. They transmit light just as expected. And if you apply a little heat to the end you’ll have a small lens. But be aware. The description is accurate. There’s 900 feet of these things! 100 nine-foot lengths. So I’m guessing I’ll never need to buy anymore.

Love it. There are those fancy fibre optics systems. I got these, used electrical tape to arrange some strands around a smart bulb. No we have multicolor stars coming down from the balcony. I’ve also just used electrical tape and put them on a flashlight. Endless fun for me lol

I used these to put strands of light under my daughter's prom dress. It worked so well (I also had to purchase an LED light strand)! Her dress was a huge hit!

Works great

This fiber has excellent light transmission and the bonus of being able to be bent quite tightly without breaking, for fitting in very small models such as N scale (1:150) cars and trucks. That does cause a lot of light emission at the corners, but a bit of opaque black paint takes care of that quite nicely.

Look, I don't know much about fiber optic cables but they seem like they will function. They are the size that was listed, they look good and cast light so there isn't a lot to be said from an amateur. They worked for what I needed them for.

Use these to light the nooks and crannies of those starship models my wife wishes I would quit spending money on. Plan on ordering more as soon as I buy another kit to build.

The worse bundle of fiber optic strands I've ever purchased!! Brittle, not consistently sized (supposed to be .75mm) , cheap and most all of r individual strands broke immediately. I use these for a fiber optic lightwhip (dancing prop)

I used these for curing the insides of resin prints. Works great when attached to a UV light for curing the insides of hollow prints.

The product arrived as described. As it is intended for future use, all I've done is check to see how well it transmits light, which is: good.

I purchased the 200pc fiber optic strands only. Was very nice. It had a few different sizes scattered into it but mainly the .75mm size and it was melted together on the flat end so nothing can fall out from the middle.

Used this with colour leds in projects to have the end of the fibers glow different colours. No issues.
