Melissa & Doug Pets Wooden Cube Puzzle With Storage Tray (16 pcs)

My kids ages 2–4 years old love this puzzle! The are very into puzzles and this is one of their favorites. The big pieces make it easy for littler/ growing hands. It’s fun to complete multiple pictures.

When I first purchased this item, my daughter was still too young. The blocks were very sturdy and sharp in the edges made out of hard wood. I was afraid she'd get hurt. Fast forward to the present time, she is 2 years old and is in love with these blocks. She stacks them up then knocks them down thousands of times she never gets tired of them. They are mainly used as puzzles, of course, but once she gets older she'll use it that way as well but they are perfect for stacking and knocking them down with a ball.

This brand makes my favorite toys for my daughter! And she loves playing with them. This one has been a hit with her and she loves it. It's really really good quality and will last through kids being tough on them.

We have a set that's now 12 years old and has lasted through 2 cousins and my own 2 kids as well. They've all loved it. I just bought this second set for my 3 yr old who adores block puzzles and I am not disappointed. Same quality as the older version so it should last for many years to come. My 3yr old was not interested in puzzles until I introduced these block type puzzles. Now she loves them and can do them by herself. They're worth every penny!

The blocks are really sharp. I got this for my two year old and kinda regretted it when she dropped one on my foot. The edges are SHARP. The images on the blocks are also stickers, not printed onto the blocks like I thought so it’s possible to peel the stickers off if you really try at it—like a toddler would. So they may not last forever like a lot of Melissa and Doug products do. Overall for the price it is pretty worth it. Just don’t step on them or let your kids throw them at people and you’re good! 😂

All my kids, ages 2-7, love this puzzle. It has multiple puzzles in one, so keeps them entertained. But they also use it in open-ended play as blocks, chairs for their dolls, tracks for their cars, etc. Great bang for your buck!

This is second of these we have purchased for young grandkids (2 year olds). First grandchild mastered all of the correct placement of blocks quickly and loved playing with it until about 4 when his interested turned to dinosaurs (and puzzle became a dust gatherer). Great for very young toddlers. Not so much 4 on (in our family's experience).

I love the ideas behind Melissa & Doug toys, but sadly they just do not hold up in my experience, and this puzzle was no different. After only being played with a couple of times by 5-yr-olds, the pictures on the puzzle have begun peeling off. Several blocks have the corners rolled up on the picture. Furthermore, the wooden box that the puzzle fits in for storage is not put together well, and I have to keep pushing the bottom piece back up into the frame so the puzzle doesn't fall through. I'm disappointed in the quality.

Quite a good toy but the edges of each cube peel back and get scruffy after time and use which is annoying as it affects how the cubes fit together. Not as durable as I would have liked but still a good toy.
