**Q: Is this dishwasher safe?**
A: I wouldn’t wash the exterior holder but the instructions do say Dishwasher Safe.

**Q: Would ground Cafe bustelo work or is it too fine?**
A: I use it to for making brewed cocoa, so I am not familiar with the different grinds of coffee.  But the finer the ground, the more it will get stuck in the filter, and the harder it will be to push the press down.  If you push the press down too hard, the grounds will go around the filter and in to your drink.  So, if Cafe bustelo is a very fine grind, I don't think a french press would work very well.

I used electric coffee pots for years. Nothing more frustrating than waking up to make coffee and having the machine not work. So I bought this. It has lasted me longer than any of the past 3 coffee machines I’ve bought and it still has a lot of life in it. It’s lightweight and easy to clean. Great product! Great price! Brew fresh ground coffee and many fresh herbal tea blends in it. I add the ingredients, add in hot water, put the press lid on, steep for 10-20 minutes, and the push down on the press and pour. It filters great and keeps out the unwanted grounds and herbs in the coffee and tea. I hand clean everything because I’m not sure how to put the press parts back together if they separate, but it’s very easy to hand wash with a soft rag.
