Chef's Quality Rainbow Sprinkles, 7 lb

Great sprinkles. Fresh and delicious

So I am not a baker. Just a lover of sprinkles, and these are amazing. My family (well really my husband and I) went through 7lbs in probably 1 week. Lol. So to tell you about them they are not too soft and not too hard. They taste like frosting. Very fresh. Worth the money! I saw some reviews from other amazon members and pictures and they weren't all great, but the first batch we received had an assortment of super bright colors. We ordered another batch and I will update if there is a problem. Worth the money and super delicious, wish they were a tad cheaper lol

I love these sprinkles because they melt in your mouth when I put them in my birthday cake ice cream and they don't have that plastic feeling to them they're quite good quality, I repeatedly buy them over and over they're the only brand I will buy for my business.

This is one of those things you don't realize how badly you need 7 lbs. of sprinkles until it's in your house. No joke, we've gotten through about a third in three weeks. These are exceptional sprinkles- they're not hard or flavorless; they sort of taste like a kind of white chocolate or funfetti chip. They also look good in the kitchen in a mason jar or shaker. And given what lesser quality sprinkles cost in the grocery store, they're cheaper for way superior quality.

These rainbow Sprinkles are HORRIBLE TASTING if eaten directly from the container. They have a WAXY GREASY MOUTH FEEL and left a film on top of the roof of my mouth! I had to eat a piece of bread to get the greasiness out of my mouth! I purchased these based on a review that stated these were good enough to eat with a spoon! There is NO WAY anyone could eat these out of the container with a spoon without gagging! The reason I gave this product 1 star instead of none was because once I baked them on cookies, they lost that greasy waxy mouth feel and they had an okay taste. I was very disappointed though that they did not hold their shape well in a 350 degree oven and melted, on all my cookies. I do Not understand why I had such a negative experience with this product since it got so many outstanding reviews. I did notify the seller regarding possibly receiving a "bad batch," and requested a replacement. I have not heard back from them. I will update this review if/when I receive a replacement. I would NOT RECOMMEND these because they did not hold up in the oven. The colors melted together and they did not look that appealing. DUE TO THE GREASY, WAXY MOUTH FEEL, THESE ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR AN ICE CREAM TOPPING. In all fairness to the Chef Quality Company, I DID check the expiration date of this product and it was 10-11-2016.

These are "soft" sprinkles - not the crunchy Rock solid kind. They do not feel "dry" but are also not overly waxy. They are longer than some jimmies but not weirdly long, the colors are very bright (and include blue and purple which is rare and no brown or black). Importantly the colors do not bleed easily, so you can mix them in with a bowl of ice cream and it won't turn the ice cream brown and the dye runs out of the sprinkles. Baked into sugar cookies the color only slightly bleeds. If you came here trying to find the "right" sprinkles, these are the ones! It is an incredible quantity of sprinkles so be prepared for a heavy box. I'm glad I found these because I won't have to worry about finding the "right" sprinkles again for a loooong time.

I love these sprinkles and have ordered them at least 5 times (I go through a lot of sprinkles) however Amazon needs to figure out how to ship these better because TWICE they have arrived broken. It needs to be packaged with paper on both top and bottom so the plastic casing doesn’t crack - these are food products so plastic shards don’t mix! Buyer beware (but also if you submit for a return, you’ll end up keeping it).

Small sprinkle containers at the grocery stores won’t do it. I need my sprinkles. This is the best bulk pack. I have been able to find.
