Aesthetically pleasing and addictively fun!!
I bought this as a gift for a ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ fan. Then after playing it myself, I just had to get my own Funkoverse game too! This game is loads of fun and will genuinely appeal to all ages. There is lots of variety which keeps it fun to play over and over. The figures look very cute. Everything about it, even including the box it all comes in, is very well designed. I highly recommend this and all Funkoverse games.

Gameplay Confusing
Looks great, but the instructions assume you understand the most rudimental points of game play, whereas explaining those clearly even if obvious would allow a better experience. Not well thought through about knocking characters over as what space do they actually occupy? Lends heavily from card based combat games.

Buy it if you're a fan
I'm not into strategy games so it took me sometime to just get the hang of the game but since I'm a big Nightmare Before Christmas fan, it was worth it getting the set from Treasure Truck and playing it. I'd say it is a great gift idea for someone who loves the movie or a strategy and/or big halloween fan. Actually this can be played around Christmas time, too, even if it doesn't have anything to do with Christmas. Lol! Overall, love the funko pop dolls (wish they put more) and a fun way to relive the movie or just play a game.

Game too complicated
Game too complicated for a ten year old. I am thinking about returning it and just buying him individual character. This can be a great gift for older kids.
