I have booked three different large trunks in my cart and I decided to go with this one because of Cool Look!It was a worse decision and purchase I made on Amazon! I bought it three weeks before my fiance's birthday and we opened it on Nov 25th.The box was denting and banding on touch,it was faling apart!Unfortunatly return policy is up,so I have to deal with it as a broken toy who looked cute,now is broken.

While it is "pretty", I have had it about 6 weeks and the latch fell off the first day. The tin in front is buckling and now the inside is coming apart. Complete waste of money. I live alone, no pets, no kids, no one in and out. It just sits at the foot of my bed while it is slowly turning from Treasure to trash.

The trunk is a great look, nothing more, to complete the seating area in my new cottage. I won't plan on resting my feet on top of this piece because the top surface is not sturdy. So, be careful in placing anything larger than a book on top of it or it might dent. The only issue I have is the price is not worth the product. It feels like a tin box which should be priced around $65 to $75 maybe $85, but not over a $100.
