It’s a foamy and not particularly light. Probably 20 to 24 ozs. Flying weight. I fly with one battery and can count on two flight of about 4-5 minutes at full charge. My sense is that the power demands for a mild RC boat of the same weight would be similar. I don’t know the normal protections for radio gear in a boat but keeping the batteries and the connectors from getting wet seems to what needs to be done at a minimum. For me, great batteries. Can't tell any difference between these and my expensive Maxamps after 1 season. A couple of weeks ago I left a pair of these in a plane and they were discharged flat over a weeks time. I was able to trickle charge them up to a decent threshold voltage and then a normal slow charge. I have used them a couple of cycles since then and they seem to charge/discharge normally and come out within .02v of each other.
