it is Lesite brand, not Switzerland Leister. The heating element is made of imported nickel wire, heat resistance ceramic and silver coated teminal. The lifetime is about one or more years. It has a very thick mica tube to protect it. And each new machine has one more spare heating element in the carry case. All the accesories of Lesite roof welder cannot be compatible with Leister's.
