These are great oats! Taste and texture is consistent, and the price is competitive. I've used these for years and have never been disappointed in the quality - it's top-notch.

For those complaining that they didn't get a bag marked organic, don't be worried about using their non organic oats. They may as well be organic since they don't allow chemical pesticides or herbicides to be used on any of their oats. They're the one brand you can trust and use regardless of whether they're organic or not. Unlike other conventional oats that are sprayed with glyphosate to dedicate (dry them up) GF Harvest brand are not sprayed with glyphosate. I was concerned about buying their non organic oats in the past because the organic was out of stock and that's what I was told when I contacted them. All of their oats are chemical free.

I eat these almost daily with fruits, nuts, and seeds. I cook them longer than the recommended time with more water. I use 1 cup groats to 3 cups water and simmer for 45 minutes. This gives me the consistency I like. I also like the flavor and texture of these. I don't really like rolled oats anymore.

I ordered one bag of these groats to try. When I rolled them with the roller attachment of my grain mill, I was disappointed to find quite a few hulls. Not the best texture for my granola, and not what I expected given my past experience with using oat groats. Thankfully, this company has kind and generous customer service. I appreciate their efforts to improve my experience with their product.

I didn't care for recipe on bag. 1 cup groats, 3 cups water...cook for about an hour...perfect
