It is helpful for babies who have trouble emptying the breast such as preemies, or other babies who need some extra help. Sunflower Seed Lecithin is a healthy fat made from sunflower seeds. It makes the milk ducts less sticky and seems to help with removing the hind milk as the breast becomes more empty. None of the moms I have worked with have mentioned any negative results.

I’m giving NOW Supplements Sunflower Lecithin 1200 mg 5 stars because it’s been really helpful for dealing with clogged milk ducts.
