Women’s Waffle Robe by Boca Terry, Kimono Style Lightweight Summer Robe

What else is there to say? I loved this robe. It's lightweight yet oh soooooo comfy. I actually had tried one on at a recent hotel stay and love it so much o looked it up to see if Amazon had it. If course they did! It's roomy, has pockets, and even has some stretch. I'll probably buy more...I even bought my girlfriend a matching one and she loves it more than I do!!

I got a thermal spa pass on my last cruise and since my room was near it, prefered to just wear my swimsuit to and from the spa. This robe was perfect. A little bulky in my suitcase but very lightweight and most importantly it fit beautifully. I am short but busty and spa-issued robes always gape; this one covered my chest completely without being otherwise super-oversized. I got it in black and had no issues with sheerness either. Also love the pockets. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable and not heavy great for summer

I am 5' 6", 250lbs and usually wear a women's plus 2X. I ordered the 4X because I wanted a very loose and comfortable fit. With robes I always have trouble with it being too tight across my back and shoulders. This robe is PERFECT. The material is very nice - definitely high quality and feels so soft against my skin. The stitching is very well done. I can wrap myself up in the robe after a shower and it absorbs water perfectly. The sleeves are a great length - not too long. I laundered it before wearing - hot water and bleach with my other white towels, then into the dryer. It came out absolutely perfect. No shrinking and no wrinkles. This is exactly what I was looking for and I am so very happy with my purchase.

I love this robe! I was big before I got pregnant and have only grown larger :/ I was looking for a good robe to put on right after exiting the shower so I can easily attend to my two year old and the next baby postpartum. The robe fits great! It’s big enough to still have some room which is how I like it, I don’t like anything right. There’s even a little slack on the waist tie. It also absorbed the water off of my body without becoming uncomfortably wet. When it arrived I had no issue with scent or packaging. I washed the robe immediately (after slipping it on right quick to make sure it would fit nicely) It held the scent of my favorite laundry detergent nicely, was so soft and just so pleasant to use. Highly recommend.

This is really nice, a little thinner than I expected as the pink is a little bit see through in that you can see the color of anything you’re wearing underneath, but not an issue for me. I wanted something a little longer and this is perfect. However, I got a size up and I seriously regret it. These robes are sized generously so I’m swimming in extra fabric now. I didn’t think it was that big when I tried it on first, but I must not have been paying attention because it’s seriously huge on me, lol. Just a warning for anyone else who usually sizes up in robes, don’t do it, you absolutely don’t need to with this one, lol.

Price increased by 42% since 2021! If you get too hot after a shower, this is the robe for you!! It gives higher coverage along the neckline than I had expected, but that is fine by me. I'm going on a vacation with my family, so extra coverage is perfect. I got this because it's supposed to be thin and lightweight, so I thought it would be easier to fit in my suitcase than the thick terry cloth robe I've had for many years. It is definitely that! Another reviewer said the material is kind of see through. Due to the lighting in my room, I can't tell, but it looks like that might be the case to a point. I think you can see a faint outline of my body's shadow while I'm wearing this, but I couldn't actually see through the material. I have pale skin and I got the ecru color. I definitely could see certain bumps and bulges in outline under the robe, but it's a thin material, so that's to be expected. I don't think it's see-through on me. It was a little scratchy out of the package, but I washed it, and that went away. I enjoy lounging around in this, but I just need it to keep me covered while I go from the bathroom to the bedroom and to not take up too much room in my suitcase. It has served me well!! I get out of the shower, towel off like usual, and put on this robe. It feels great. It feels absorbent enough to keep me happy. One thing I cannot stand is wearing a robe that is not absorbent because I hate the feel of water clinging to my skin/clothes. This robe is actually fantastic for me in that regard. It is summer now, and this lightweight robe is great for walking around the house and getting ready without feeling like I have to turn on the air conditioner. I washed and dried it. I have to say that I did see a few pills on it after laundering it. That is not good, but while it was not terribly noticeable, I think that is something that might be of concern to some people. I would not give this robe as a gift unless the person specifically asked for a lightweight robe or if the person constantly complains of being too hot. I would not describe this as a terry cloth robe. It is a waffle weave. Update: I changed my review from four stars to five stars after having this robe for six months. I absolutely LOVE this robe! It absorbs water very well (I do always towel dry before putting it on, though), and it's very lightweight. That helps a LOT in the morning. I live in a warm climate, so I used to turn on the air conditioner when getting ready in the morning because my thick terry cloth robe was warm, even though I didn't realize that was the problem. Now, I want to throw out my terry cloth robe and use only this one!! I'm planning on buying another one of these robes!!

Spa quality. Nice crisp waffle knit. Very roomy. Could go down a size. Wraps around the body well and covers everything.

I love this robe. It looks and fits great! Nicely oversized but not too big. It looks and feels very luxurious. Just like you would expect at a high end hotel. I found it expensive but worth the splurge.

It’s great to have a cotton bathrobe. I will be buying each of my daughters one of these for Christmas washes beautifully. And feels light on the skin and yet is comfy. It is also stylish. I do not think twice about wearing it in front of company in the mornings.

Generous cut, beautiful waffle fabric, what can I say... worth every penny. I love it!
