a must have for dinghy sailors

This is a product I that I already own and have used for many years. I purchased a 3rd unit for a new boat, recently bought. The compass came with a port display showing “Cal” and a starboard display showing the correct course in degrees. Nothing in the enclosed manual talked about “Cal” on the port display. I determined that the product was defective and asked for a return/refund. The seller put me through several hoops, including providing a series of actions to get the product to work correctly, despite my telling him that there was NOTHING in the product manual documenting this type of problem. After 2 weeks of back many back and forth communications, I finally received a return authorization. I do not make it a habit to return products; typically researching items before I buy and I had extensive experience with the Tacktick Micro Compass. I buy from Amazon because of excellent product info as well as good return policy. This was a very unhappy experience; however I compliment the seller for finally authorizing a refund for what was a defective product prior to shipment.

Tras un año de uso puedo asegurar que la botonera deja de funcionar si se moja por lluvia o salpicaduras . Me ha dejado en dos regatas sin crono en la salida y sin compás en la regata. La primera vez me ocurrió con dos meses de uso y la segunda la semana pasada. Tengo la sensación que cualquier día dejará de funcionar.Muy decepcionado en un producto de este nivel.
