They spread heat easily and definitely helped to improve sustained performance. I see it in download and transfer speeds 3/4 of the way through. The T7 used to throttle like crazy near the end of a long download. It just doesn't now. Worth considering. Just be careful where you stick these things. Be aware that the supplied mounting tape works but doesn't conduct heat very well.
