These are excellent laces and slide through the eyes much easier than the laces that came with my Amberjack shoes. The sliding ability is important since it allows me to tighten the laces eaisely and get a sercure fit that prevents my foot sliding forward and causing or irritating corns. Very satisfied with this purchase and highly reccoment them if you need a secure fir with lace up shoes.

Great quality

These laces have great quality for the price, and while I could spend double on subjectively better/perfect laces, those wouldn't deliver the same value. These are perfectly thin, lightly waxed, and have plastic end ferrels that are substantial enough to last a long time (ie. they're thicker plastic, and not the typical thin translucent). I read select reviews from some people who had problems with the end ferrels, and I'd just say when you receive your new laces inspect them, and if the ferrels seem slightly/questionably loose, use a lighter to very, very quickly heat and shrink them a touch more (obviously do this at your own risk). Other than that, they're shoe laces -- More than enough said.

The product description says these are 1.5mm thick, but they are 2.2mm according to my digital calipers. The eyelets are only 2mm wide. The plastic ends fit through, but then you need a pliers to wreck the laces into place and hope you get them centered the first time. I really needed these to be 1.5mm, but they're not. The laces are doing their job now, hence not a lower rating. Next time I'll get laces at a store where I can see them first.

I decided to replace my brown shoelaces that were pretty worn out with the tan ones and they look pretty awesome! Getting double the compliments on my shoes now!
