They're my husband's, so I can't speak to their durability. But they instantly revitalized an older pair of dress-ish shoes breathing new life into them again. He has had no complaints.

They’re not “waxed.” They do function as laces, but why lie? Waxed laces are not hairy.

Perfect for 5 hole dress shoes for Men
Exactly what I was looking for. Only suggestion is to make it more clear that these are the thin laces for dress shoes because other companies say dress shoes but they are not really thin.

Great quality and a great price
These laces have great quality for the price, and while I could spend double on subjectively better/perfect laces, those wouldn't deliver the same value. These are perfectly thin, lightly waxed, and have plastic end ferrels that are substantial enough to last a long time (ie. they're thicker plastic, and not the typical thin translucent). I read select reviews from some people who had problems with the end ferrels, and I'd just say when you receive your new laces inspect them, and if the ferrels seem slightly/questionably loose, use a lighter to very, very quickly heat and shrink them a touch more (obviously do this at your own risk). Other than that, they're shoe laces -- More than enough said.
