Nuance Dragon Naturally Speaking Premium Version 13 Speech Recognition Software

My main use is to get ideas down before I forget them and it does a great job of writing just what I say. Also saves me a lot of typing. I have to go back and put in punctuation since I forget to say "period" and "comma", etc. Was easy to install. Like the headset that comes with it. It's not worth using it for editing as far as I'm concerned so I haven't even tried doing that.

I purchased this to get me through the rest of my University Teaching this semester. I lecture for a Visual Arts Course, and wanted the material I presented to be as lively and spontaneous as my in person lectures are. With this fantastic software, I am able to do so with just a few minor adjustments. Great product!!

This was a waste of money, I have had Dragon before and after three days and expenses in purchasing new microphone I still can't get this product to work. I and un-installed and re-installed three time thinking I had done something wrong. I can't even get the program to come unto the screen and it won't reconnize my mike even through he computer says it is set up. Guess this program will go into my box of old software that I don't use anymore.

This was so easy to set up. From some of the bad reviews I was almost scared to bring it in to the house!! It took me maybe ten minutes to load and set up and read the opening tutorial. I turned it on and spoke the words provided. Bingo, my first dictation had me making more mistakes than it did.

This version is an upgrade for me - It works very well and you don't have to train this version like you do the older version. It seems to take a long time to load compared to the old one. I use it for medical transcription and it does a great job. Glad I upgraded.

My husband purchased this for me for Christmas. Unfortunatly, it's an old version and no longer useable. I was unable to load it onto my computer and when I contacted their tech support, they informed me I needed to purchase another verision. :-(It's sad that people are selling outdated versions.

Very easy to work with if you take your time and learn how to work with this software. I find it to be a very accurate and fast. Also, the headset that comes with the software is all you will ever need. I tired a USB headset and even when I down loaded the software on line I could not get it work properly...lesson learned!!!
