Quality great, worked all good, no problem with communication

I liked that the adaptor worked with different cameras hdmi out. I used a short extension cable so it would not hang on the usb input port. That would help. Did some live zoom events and worked well. I heard about this adaptor from another tech who used for live-streaming.

I decided to jump onto the Atomos ecosystem after investing in the awesome Ninja V screen. This works well enough to capture footage, but don't expect to have this replace a professional solution for live video capture. I tried having this work with my Sony A7iii to replace one of my webcams, and it did a good job capturing 1080p60, but I would notice some small tearing at times. My guess is it's a driver thing, so let's hope this gets resolved soon!

Great price on a simple device that so far works exactly as expected.

Great little device. It saved my butt after my LiveU Solo HDMI port stopped working on me. I downloaded a streaming application for me to stream through my laptop. Captured the video from my switcher and the event continued. Great product.

I am horribly disappointed with this purchase. It is literally an exact copy of a less than $15 brand-less capture card. It has bad screen tearing as well. I love atomos products, but this is not that. It does not hold up to their other products, and is not worth purchasing. The mjpeg compression looks quite bad.

Product works as described but is available for $15. My bad for not doing the research but don't make the same mistake I did.

A few youtubers have done an investigation regarding this capture card because of it's striking resemblance to the cheap $15 HDMI video capture cards you find all over the internet and when they opened it up they found it was the exact same card. Atomos made this as a cash grab to bank in on the need for capture cards because of the pandemic but instead of doing R&D and releasing an original product they decided to go on a site like AliExpress and order a bunch of them with their own logo on it. Honestly its pretty shameful and I expected a lot more from a reputable company like Atomos.

Product functionality might be the same but the picture is misleading.
