Areds absolutely works! I took my aging father to his Opthamalogist appointment 40 years ago. Nearly blind, his doctor came out to the waiting room and told me if I wanted to avoid severe macular degeneration in the future to begin taking Areds 2. Almost 40 years later I continue to take this medication faithfully morning and night and it has maintained my MD. Yes it’s there. But has never advanced. It is one of very few medication s untouched by big pharma.

My eye doctor recommended I take AREDS 2 vitamins daily due to ARMD, so this isn’t an optional supplement for me. I’ve been taking them consistently, and according to my eye doctor, my ARMD has not progressed. That’s the most important thing to me. Of course, no one can say with certainty what’s responsible in any individual case, but I’m happy to continue taking something that is recommended and has been part of keeping my condition stable. My two complaints are the price and the size of the softgels. They’re a bit larger than I’d like, especially when you’re taking them every single day. I really wish they came in a smaller size or were a little easier to swallow. They’re also fairly expensive when you know they’ll be a permanent part of your budget. Even with those drawbacks, I keep them on Subscribe & Save because, for me, the benefits outweigh the negatives. Four stars.

このサプリは2010年頃から使い続けているものですが、最近の２回の購入分で問題発生。 常備薬であるので手元の在庫が２Weeks分を切ることが無い様に補充を続けています。 保管はいつも押し入れの奥のスペースで他の薬品類と並んでいる状況（気温摂氏10-15度の空間）ですが、外の化粧紙箱を空けて瓶を取り出し、 蓋を回してシールを剥がしまして、中を覗くと白い瓶の内側が赤色に染まっている（赤いスジがたくさん走っている）のに気が付きました。 錠剤の外側が溶けたのか、べとべとにくっついているのです。 取り合えず瓶の中身全部をPaper Towelの上に広げて全粒の表面をふき取りまして、他の容器（プラスチックバッグ）に移し替え使っております。 使用不可の状況だということでしたらその様に御連絡下さい。 この状態は最新の2回分の購入に関して発生しており（２回とも御社からの納入とは言えませんが）、保管条件があるのならそれなりの明確化が必要であり、それが無いのは重大な品質欠陥であり（何を如何に保証するかが明確でない、すなわち何を売っているか明確でない）。 御社はメーカーに対し物の品質の明確化を要求する義務を権利を有すると考えますが。 問題の事故品の空瓶（内側に錠剤の赤色が附着した）が 必要でしたら御連絡下さい。
