Sugar Lip Scrub

I love this lip scrub! I exfoliate my face about three or four times a week, but I can't use that exfoliator on my lips. This product fulfills what my other exfoliators do for my face and neck. I love the scent of this! It smells and tastes like some sort of sugar candy. I can really feel it working, exfoliating my lips and removing anything that dulls them or creates those horrible vertical lines that all of us over thirty eventually get. I use a special lip brush, which I've reviewed below, to scrub my lips, then, after rinsing, I flip the brush over and massage in a collagen gel, which also can be found here on Amazon. This, used with my bedtime beauty routine, leaves my lips soft, kissable, plump, and free of any lines at all. (I only wear lip gloss because I have permanent make up, but I know women who use this, and they say it not only prevents the vertical lines, it prevents "feathering" at the edges of their lipstick.) This is cruelty free, and, as an animal lover, I love that, and it's made from all natural ingredients, another thing I love. It's gentle enough for sensitive lips, and it's vigorous enough to really exfoliate and remove all the dead skin cells. (I actually use a 0.25 derma needler on my lips three times a week; it helps the products I use work better.) In short, this is a great product! For those who want the most gorgeous lips possible, this is essential! And, this is the best lip scrub I've ever used! Try it! I think you'll love it!

I absolutely love this scrub! It has such a pleasant smell to it that sometimes I think it's candy. I love the feeling of all the 'sugar crystals' scrubbing against my lip. It makes it feel like it's really cleaning your lips and getting rid of dead cells. At first I didn't understand why you would wipe your lips after scrubbing (as directed), but I guess it's to remove the dead cells and the crystals off your lips. But surprisingly my lips still stayed soft. I have a hard time finding any type of lip treatment (like chapstick or balm) because they always dry my lips leaving it flaky and 'peely', so my go to has always been aquaphor which is great stuff, but doesn't last me the whole day and when my lips dry they get chapped really bad. And then when I would reapply the aquaphor I have to peel the pieces that are chapped before it can actually make my lips feel better and soft. But not with this lip scrub! I was surprised that even after a few days that even tho I felt my lips might be dry, when I would check on them they were still soft to the touch and surprisingly no chapped lips! Which was awesome. I use this product about 2-3 times a day, and my lips feel awesome! I can even notice it turning my lips into a more natural pinkish color (I have dark pigmentation outlining my lips- and it appears to be lightening now). I would recommend tho if you purchase this scrub to also get the Hanalei Lip Treatment with it. They really go hand in hand and are recommended products for one another. You use the lip treatment after the scrub and it really just takes it up a level. The treatment will give you that feeling like there's something on your lips doing its job. The scrub itself is great, but together they are the perfect combo!

I've used this product in the past and remembered liking it, so when my lips started getting extra-peely this fall, I decided to grab another pot of this lip scrub (since my old one had long since expired). I feel like this product is a solid 4-stars. There's plenty of sugar granules that allow you to feel like you're getting a good - but gentle - exfoliation treatment, and the oils are good for your lips and moisturizing ....but they are a bit *too* waxy-oily and seem to get all around the mouth. For some people, this would be a plus, but for me - who follows a specific facial-care routine that'll include lighter-weight treatments before moisturization, it was a down side. When I use it, I have to re-wash the area around my mouth with my face wash before I can feel like the extra residue is gone. Not the end of the world, but enough for me to deduct 1 star. tl;dr: Good exfoliation, good oils, but those oils are heavy and get everywhere. Prepare to have to clean up around your mouth if you plan on using serums etc after using this in your facial routine.

I absolutely love this product! My lips get dry very easily so to get my lipstick to look good and not feather and clump, I have to use some type of lip exfoliant daily. I have used a large number of them but each time I finish, I move on to another brand, trying to find the “perfect” product for my lips. I have finally found it! I also like the fact that this is made in the USA. I do not like putting something made in China or some place I am not sure about quality control, on my face and lips. The exfoliant in this treatment is actually much finer than any I have used before and at first I thought that was a negative. I was not sure it would work well enough to make my lips smooth. However, the emollient in this is really fantastic so that my lips are soft after using it and my lipstick stays in place perfectly. It is actually very easy on the lips and I quickly realized I did not need something that scrubbed so much to be effective. I now use this morning an night because I really like the way my lips feel afterwards. It is gentle enough that twice a day usage is fine. I am pretty sure once one a day would be fine but I just like how my lips feel afterward! I hate to admit this but with another product in the past, I actually made my lips bleed from rubbing too vigorously. You can rub as vigorously as I want this this and it will never make your lips bleed! It is gentle but amazingly effective. Love!

I am liking this lip exfoliator. I use it in the shower each morning to help moisturize my lips and mouth area. It gives a smoother appearance to my lips and they feel softer. I will buy this product again.

Not enough grit. Add sugar and it’s fine

Great taste. Left my lips smooth. Little pricey but felt it was worth the result. Lipstick now glides on lips since using this regular.

It’s slow but for sure it works for restoring natural color ,, i tried many lip balms and exfoliateors but does not work at all

It does a great job exfoliates and soothes the lips in a gentle manner. Especially nice in autumn and winter to keep your lips soft and fresh through the dry seasons. Easy to use as well, with a naturally pleasant fragrance <3
