Decent Price Good Hay
Not bad, a lot of longer pieces and leafy pieces which my bunny loves. Not bad a price for 1lb, I bought another brand from petsmart a week ago that she absolutely tears up, im already almost out of it and I've only started giving it to her a couple days ago. She likes this brand she's honestly not too picky when it comes to hay but she does have some that she likes more. I haven't had her for long I've only recently got her the week of July 4th so I've only tried 3 different brands of alfalfa hay. So far it's the petsmart brand she likes the most then this brand is 2nd and the brand her breeder gave me is 3rd she's like meh with that one. So far so good. If your bunny likes longer pieces and the leafy bits this is honestly perfect.

FINALLY!!
My rabbits LOVE this alfalfa hay! When I opened the box I couldn't believe how fresh it looked (so green), and the smell was even fresher. My rabbits would barely eat the other stuff. They would pick through it. It was just so brown and dry looking. But when I started buying Dessert High, oh my goodness, they devoured it so fast that I could barely keep up with them!! So this is the hay I am buying from now on. Its not that much more if it makes my bunnies that happy!! At this time they are still under 6 month of age ( it's Jan 2026). We are on our 2nd box, and I just ordered our 3rd in the 10lb size.

Doesn't trigger my asthma like store bought hay
This is not cheap alfalfa hay, so I was dismayed at the size of the box when it arrived. I needn't have been as we are only now running out--after 8 weeks. They really pack it into the box, so you get more than you think (compared to the big box alfalfa hay). You definitely get value for your money. I am back today to get on the subscription plan because this stuff is just SO.MUCH.BETTER than store bought. The quality is excellent with the hay being very fresh. It's weed free, bright green, smells lovely and has no off odors, mildew or mold. I have terrible allergies (which are not made happy by a guinea pig in the house!), but this hay does not trigger my asthma like dusty, store bought alfalfa does. And while there are wisps and straggly bits of plant material, there is very little dust. We use a tiny, wooden hay rick contraption to hold the hay, keeping it both contained as well as out of the shavings and poop zone. [Seen on Amazon, search "andwe Hay Feeder Less Wasted Wooden Food Feeding Rack for Rabbit Guinea Pig Chinchilla - Standing Pet-self Feeding Hay Manager"] Dumpling free feeds as he needs to, and seems very happy with his new alfalfa supply.

Great fresh hay but the quality was different from the first box.
Over all my my two 9 week old buns love the hay. I first bought the 5lb box. This week I ordered the 10lb box and the hay still has that vibrant green color but there are more dried stems in this box than in the first. The stems are also a lot thicker and longer than the first box. I bought some timothy hay and oat hay to mix with the alfalfa as well so they get a variety and get used to the taste but their diet is mainly the alfalfa hay. I will keep ordering if the quality stays the same throughout the box. This is still definitely better than buying the hay at the pet stores. Would recommend this hay to other baby bunny owners!

Too much bits, crumbles and dust
While the color of the alfalfa was good, about 40% of the box was bits, crumbles and dust instead of stalks...so much so I noticed my young bunny sneezing while eating it...sorry, would love to support a smaller company but I can't afford to pay for a product when I can't use all of it. I know buyers also get boxes full of nice, green stalks but I don't want to take a gamble every time I order.

Bunnies hay
I was supposed to see it not in a bag. It comes straight in a box. Itโs fresh and my bunny loves it. I just wish it came sealed up.

Very dusty, barely edible ๐ฐ
I was very upset with the quality of the hay. It was quite literally dust and the shortest pieces. Not leafy at all. My bunny was sneezing nonstop :/ I only got this since I ran out of my usual brand, so I only used this for a day. But my bunnies were not interested in this much at all. But shipping was very fast, so I was pleased with that!
