Does the job of winding wool as expected.

Only fault is the guide arm bit doesn’t stay in place and keeps pushing in making it knock on ball as winding, needs taping in place

This is a very useful device. Not only does it make the yarn easier to use, it compacts the volume reducing storage space.

Good gadget but a few times the gears have gotten jammed.

Flimsy

I don't use a winder very often however, I bought this to convert balls of yarn to cakes to make an intarsia pattern easier. Despite hand winding the yarn on to my swift, the Ball winder suddenly started slipping on its cogs and not moving. It feels and looks cheaply made. I am sorry I wasted my money.

Really good for making wool cakes, although sometimes the the wool gets caught and stuck in the bottom where it turns. its also incredibly loud and drowns out other noises, which is very annoying. other than that its great

Makes the tasks easier.

The little balls of wool, pom pom makers and the notions are great. But this set was supposed to be a yarn winder and all of those little things. The video on the page even shows the yarn winder. I am very disappointed the yarn winder was missing.Has the yarn winder been including, and if it worked, this would have been a 4 or 5 star purchase.

This little gadget is amazing. Set up was very easy a kid could do it. I have some yarn that needs to be neatly arranged and this gadget will be a great help. I really like knitting or crocheting from a yarn cake. I suggest to wind slowly steady pace to make the yarn cake look even and beautiful. It's easy to pop off yarn cake when done. What I do is twist with one of cone off spindle and pop yarn cake off. The price was reasonable it already paid for itself with all the help it has given me.

The media could not be loaded.  So easy. Me and baby girl enjoyed ourselves. She’s 9. We made som many pompoms I’d say we lost the track of time. Yarn included was a nice surprise. Don’t put too many hopes on that cutter tool but IT WORKS.The plastic needles were very useful.If you’re looking to feel like a kid, be creative and have fun spending quality time with your children then this will possibly be one of best $10 you could spend.Thank you.
