Amazing Blade - Much better than Derbys
Amazing Blade - Much better than Derbys....nothing cuts as smooth and irritation free like sharp carbon steel....check the single edge forums... Ive had some of these last 2 weeks and usually I get 10 days at least out of these. The difference I find is with the soap..let it sit on your face for a good 3 minutes minimum..., if the beard is completely moist the blade cuts easier and thus stays sharper longer.... use a shallow angle, dont try to get a close shave on the first pass...just clean up close on the second or third pass....I have found a bit of QC issues ocassionally I get one that only lasts 3-4 shaves....about 1 per pack...for 10 bucks you can shave for a year irritation free... best buy out there...BTW if you have a lot of shower traffic (steam) just store the razor out of the bathroom..rust is no worst than rust on stainless blades..a must try..

Good carbon steel blades at a good price. Just use easy precautions to avoid corrosion.
These blades really are pretty decent, especially for the price (and can be bought in 100-packs if you really want savings). Just note that they are carbon steel blades, not stainless steel, so they will rust. How do you avoid the corrosion problem? a) use them once and discard, or better, b) rinse the head of your razor with 99% isopropyl alcohol after shaving, and don't load new blades until the razor is dry. Doing this will get rid of all corrosion issues. If you start to notice minor corrosion on the blades, it's time to replace your isopropyl alcohol because you've gotten too much water in it. (I took an old Proraso preshaving cream jar; it's just the right size for my razor and holds enough alcohol to be practical.) If you don't want the hassle, just stick to good stainless blades like Gillette Silver Blue, Astra, Feather, etc.

These are useless for what I want them for and I should ...
These are NOT the Classic carbon steel razors. The information on the description was changed after I ordered. I received the razors and they are the regular stainless steel - junk. These are useless for what I want them for and I should have been informed that I would be getting the incorrect product and my card should have been refunded immediately.

Good blade bad finish
I got a 10 pack of these blades in a sampler pack. I really like the quality of the shave, I have used some pretty bad blades in my day and I would call this one my third or fourth favorite in terms of shave performance. I have to knock the blades a bit because their finish is bad. They start visibly rusting around the middle of the blade where the holes are after the second shave. By the fifth shave it was really rusty and I was glad to get rid of it. The performance of the blade wasn't affected by the rust as it wasn't on the edge of the blade, but I don't want rust sitting against and rubbing off on to my razor.

Good blades
These blades handle quite differently than stainless blades. Low in irritation, require repeated passes. In order to get a smooth shave, require a final very shallow angle pass like a straight razor. Works well with a very rich soap such as Trumper's -- may skitter or stick with "thinner" soaps or creams. Worked well for me in a heavy (red tip) Gillette Super Speed razor. Blade lasts 3 shaves for me. Not worth the asking price on this site, however, but are available for less than 2$ a pack from Fendrihan shaving supplies in Canada (check their web site).

Not good at all...
I got these in a sampler pack and while I do think razor blade choice is purely subjective and very much comes down to individual preferences, I thought these were really bad. I have sensitive skin but a light beard and I had to use multiple passes to get a close shave, leaving my skin irritated. The blades are not sharp enough either which resulted in pulling on my whiskers and leaving me with ingrown hairs. If you can make this blade work for you then have at it, but I'd suggest getting something higher quality (like Shark, Lord, or Feather).

The worst blades that I have ever tried.
I'm not going to say much here because there is no need for that. These are the worst blades that I have ever tried, period. I bought a sample pack that has about 10 different manufactures of blades. And over the course of several months I've been trying them all. And I have to say that these are BY FAR the worst blades of them all, save your money do not buy those blades.
