Love this Rangefinder
I had the old version for about 13 years. It finally wore out. This one is just as nice, easy to hold, steady when you are trying to get a distance because of the handle, and is a little smaller and lighter than their older version. So glad I bought the same type again. I hate the other ones without a handle...I have trouble keeping it steady and getting a measurement...and it is not because of age or health. This one is just much easier to shoot and get a distance. Only negative is trying to get it to the function you want. Seems like there could be an easier method.

Should Have Purchased Years Ago
As a senior mid to high golf handicapper, I've always been content with a gps device that gives you three options, front, middle and back of the green yardages and content to "green hunt". I have a hand tremor and have always been reluctant to use a hand held gps. After three rounds and using the RH2, I am now a "pin seeker" Love it! The pistol grip and using the cart steering wheel as a stabilizer, the RH2 is quick and easy to use. And there really is something positive, comforting and reassuring about knowing the actual yardage. Lock in the RH2 in and grab the club you need. Granted knowing the yardage is half the battle, you still have to make the shot. The RH2 for me, has SO FAR, helped with that part of the mental side of the game.

Great value, works great!
Great golf aid. Price is very reasonable, and it works very well. For 90% of the situations I pull it out, spot on and easy to use. The difficult situations are trying to get a reading on a flag stick that is over 200 yards, no reflector on the stick and trees 25-50 yards behind the flag. For those 10% occasions, I know I am using one of my rescue clubs. I doubt the more expensive rangefinders out there do any better, I would rather have the extra money to play golf!

Dislike: battery encasement doesn't 100% secure the battery and ...
Likes: ease of use, accuracy, battery is regular 9 volt, use is unaffected by my usual need for reader glasses.Dislike: battery encasement doesn't 100% secure the battery and has jarred open allowing the battery to fall out.

I hate it. Yes it measures everything
I had an old worn out Laser Link and replaced it with this newer model. I hate it. Yes it measures everything, everything. If the pin is at the back of the green, I often measure the berm past the green. Or if its on the front, its easy to shoot past the pin and hit a higher part of the green. Either way it's maybe a 15 yard distance error. To use it I have to find a "hard" distance marker to middle of green (sprinkler head, 150 marker, etc) then I have to find a pin locator for that pin (pin sheet, indicator on flag pole, etc), then I can use the Laser to fine tune the distance. Hey I bought the thing so I didn't have to go through that exercise , and by the time I am ready to use the laser, I know the distance within a couple yards. Just bought the old model that requires a flag pole prism, and only hits the pole.

easy and accurate
If the pin has the laser reflectors, works very fast, easy and accurate. Works well off of all other objects such as people, carts , trees, etc. Works as good or better than the Bushnell we have. Without the laser reflectors on the pin, it's more difficult to get a reading, just like with our Bushnell. The battery is a standard 9 volt, which is much better than the special size battery our Bushnell needs.

Returned it
There are much better range finders on the market for this price - old technology. It is also not Prime so returns take longer. Sent it back UPS and while Amazon issues a refund to your account it is temporary until seller receives it.

Pretty easy to use
I've had it for a couple of weeks. Used it on the golf course about six times & it seems to be accurate & working well. Off a yrd or two compared to other devices of playing partners but that's expected & normal. Can laser point & get a reading when the red light is on the target. Silent, vibrate & sound mode avail. & yrds or meters. Pretty easy to use.
