My first choice for my BB7s
I've been using these with BB7s for almost a couple of years now, commuting five days a week in all weather. I think that they are durable enough, considering the price and have reasonable stopping power. Most of all, I like that they are quiet even when wet. I was having awful squealing issues with Avid's pads. I've gone through about four sets of the Coomas (all purchased at different times) and have yet to run into an issue with fit or quality.

Noisy, thicker than originals. Seem to stop OK but can't recommend.Found the secret - remove the paint between the pad & where the piston makes contact - now fine, no squealing

Looks like crap... but they work.
I gave it 3 stars because they do work, they fit well enough, but looks like they've been sitting in sea water for decades and was recently pulled out, brushed off, and painted. I'll probably buy oem the next time around.

Oh, snap !
The metal supports are thicker than Avid OE. Therefore, I cannot get them to seat with enough separation to insert the rotor at mounting. I followed the Avid dismount old and mount new pad instructions. Further, the ablative pad material is fragile and bits crumbled off during the mounting attempt. Meh!

SCAM not the same as pictured
The pads I got are nothing like the ones pictured these will not fit my bike or any avid bb7. What I got where avid elixir and not bb7 the package was labeled elixir but that label was covered by a sticker that say bb7. SCAM Hopefully I can get these replaced before my brakes completely fail.

You won't find a better deal on brake pads. Installed in minutes. Give great stopping power and fade resistance. I've been running these for several months now and am still pleased.

I bought 2 sets; one of them was stamped ...
I bought 2 sets; one of them was stamped L/R incorrectly - took a while to figure it out. They barely fit in my BB7 - had to hammer them down a bit.

Highly recommended replacement brake pads
Replaced my stock brake pads with these and immediately noticed the difference. I'd expected the new pads to stop better (and they do), but they're way better than just that: much less noise and smoother brake modulation than the OEM pads. Highly recommended.
