What happened?** A: I just logged into my Amazon to order my SF Pods and noticed the huge price increase also. I did not place my order and (if the price stays this high) will not be ordering again. There's another brand that's similar called Happy Belly that is the same as what the price use to be AND is made out of the compostable materials. Costco is the way to go now when purchasing SF Coffee pads. We consider our San Francisco bay Fog Chaser a medium roast. However, we roast darker than most so it would tend to be a bit darker. Our San Francisco Bay French Roast is a deep dark roasted coffee and is stronger than our Fog Chaser. The Coffee?** A: As of early 2019: these k-cups are ENTIRELY compostable now, not just 97%. Every part of the cup is made from plant products, including the formerly plastic ring. Same with the bags they come in, and the cardboard box around that is of course recyclable. NO PLASTIC WHATSOEVER.
