These tarnish prevention strips really work! Especially in an enclosed space like a china cabinet. Silver stays bright for years.

These really do work. I have a lot of silver jewelry that I couldn't keep polished all the time, so I just wasn't able to wear a lot of it. Once I got it all polished, I put it all together in a special jewelry box and I put one of these strips in. It kept my jewelry beautifully polished for months. You just have to remember to replace the strips every 6 months or so, so I write the date I first started using each strip right on it when I first put it in the box. These things are really wonderful!

I have used these anti-tarnish strips for years. I cut them into smaller pieces to fit into the zip close bags that l use to store jewelry. I write thedate on the strip so that l know when it is time to change them. I use them for inventory and also for my personal jewelry. When l send an item to a customer, they can see the Hagerty logo and information so that they can order them themselves. Excellent product, as are all Hagertyproducts. I use the anti-tarnish cloth which l buy in multi-yard packages to line jewelry drawers and storage boxes. I line the bottom, sides, anduse an overly generous amount in a double layer on the top so that l can tuck it into all the nooks and crevasses around the jewelry. Additionally my sterling silver chest is lined in anti-tarnish cloth. I am a collector of antique George lll and Hester Bateman sterling pieces, soyou can see l am REALLY into SILVER. I've been using these strips for about a month now for my silver jewelry and they really do the trick! I haven't had to polish the pieces before I wear them. I've stored them in zip-lock bags with a strip inside and it seems to work well. I haven't tried them on silver flatware yet but hopefully I can have the same results. I didn't think there would be so many products out there to treat tarnished silver like I have found on Amazon. As usual the service is very prompt!

We have a sterling silver Christmas bell that we had engraved for our 25th wedding anniversary. Every year at Christmas, when we put up the tree, I have to stop to polish the bell.I bought this to try to stop the horrible tarnish and Christmas polishing. Well, I don't mind SOME polishing, but most years it is so bad, I have to spend an hour or more on it. I am hoping this will alleviate that situation.The strips just look like a piece of printer paper cut up, and the package says they last 6 months. I am trying to remember to dig out my Christmas ornaments the first week of July, and change the strip. Also, I am curious to see how well this is working.I gave it 3 stars because I really don't know. I will update this review next summer!Update on 01/08/2010:I never got around to taking out my Christmas ornaments in July, so I was not expecting much after my silver bell had been stored for 11 months. Well, when I took it out of the ornament box and opened the ziplock bag it was stored in, much to my surprise, it had only just started to tarnish a little!! I took a small silver polishing cloth and about 10 minutes later, it was beautifully shiny like new. In other words, if you store your silver in a ziplock with one of these strips, the effect is good for a considerable time, and they really work! Just thought anyone interested ought to know.

These are great strips that hold the sterling silver and keep it clean in a plastic bag for 3yr with just a tiny bit of tarnish. Makes cleaning silverware of any kind and tea sets and trays easier.

Added to a freshly polished cutlery box, it is a dream!

Easy to use . it helps with the tarnish you sill have to clean your silver ware but not as often. The papers do last about 6 months

The strips fit nicely into the cutlery box and nothing has tarnished... 3 months +.
