I have a very old workbench that I have always struggled with to open and close the drawers when they are loaded with tools as these drawers are wood on wood. This tape on the bottom sticks well to that old wood and makes it much easier to open and close the drawers. This tape does not work as well as if I had installed slides but works so much better and very simple to install.

This low friction tape is amazing! My house is 70 years old with its original kitchen cabinets. The drawers have just a wood track under a wood drawer. They have always been difficult to open and close. Also, because it’s just wood on wood, there has always been sawdust in everything underneath a drawer. While I was looking for some kind of solution to this problem I discovered this tape! It is amazing!! All I did was put a strip of tape along the length of the wood track under the drawers and a little piece in each corner of my drawer opening and now they open and close with no difficulty! Yay! And no more sawdust either! This tape is a game changer! I just like opening and closing the drawers for no reason now! Lol! The video shows two drawers….the first one I haven’t put the tape on yet and the second drawer is with the tape. Note: The tape only needs to be applied to one side. I tested it by putting tape on the bottom of the drawer as well as the track and when the tape is sliding against itself it isn’t better and actually makes it slide less easily plus it makes a kind of zipper sound.

Sticks well and gives old wood slides a break from shredding and helps them slide.

I purchased this after experiencing continued bleeding post–deviated septum surgery. Good quality and effective. Took a star off because I sometimes had trouble with it sticking to my skin. I ended up purchasing another brand that suited my needs better.

It's so tough, slick and adhears so well I put it on an airplane propeller leading edge. I have used the really expensive tape that hardens and drys out over time but I believe this tape will do a better job, cut through the wind better and last at least twice as long : )

Bought the whole roll but only needed a few inches to fix my sticky seat belt return. Covered the areas the belt rubs on as it retracts at about ear level. Worked right away.

Bought for a squeaky kitchen drawer. Works awesome. I’ve found countless other uses.

This is the real deal! I've tried using solid dimensional UHMW bar and round stock, the problem I've found is the extrusion process results in warped and lumpy stock unsuitable for precision sliding surfaces. Using aluminum or steel stock, then applying this tape, results in very straight, flat and slippery surfaces. My comparison of metal-to-metal, metal-to-taped-metal, and taped-metal-to-taped-metal indicated that tape-to-tape is, by a wide margin, the most slippery of the bunch. As with any self-adhesive tape, surface cleanliness is vital to a strong, uniform bond. It doesn't hurt to develop an application approach which eliminates the need to re-position the tape; one-and-done is best. Removing trapped air bubbles with this tape is quite difficult, not impossible near the edges, in the middle it's probably better to start over. Highly recommended!

Got this to put under the edges of timber draws to they would run smoothly and it worked perfectly. Got a second roll to finish the whole dresser.

I used it for motorcycle fairings where they join and mount together. I wanted to protect the paint and this tape worked perfectly. I ended up buying another roll that was a bit wider for other uses. The tape is very sticky too - so stays put for a long time.

I have use for slippery surfaces when making various jigs or fixtures for wood working and this is a lot cheaper than cutting up UHMW blocks. Very thin and flexible and sticks very well with the adhesive on the back. My latest project was a halloween costume that had moving parts painted with interior gloss latex paint. Where the parts rubbed together, the latex paint would grab. I applied the tape on the opposing surfaces and it stuck very well to the dry paint and now the mechanism works smoothly without grabbing. The tape is virtually invisible on the costume. Perfect! Great price and well made material.
