Men's Classic Desert Shoes Chukka Boots

I'm a US Civil War reenactor - our shoes are called 'brogans'. Several vendors make these ankle boots for us, but NONE offer arch support which I need or I'm lame after a day of walking over 10 miles!I bought 1.5 size bigger - they fit with an extra pair of socks and they have ARCH SUPPORT which I absolutely need. For me - the 'look' of these boots appears exactly like our "brogans" that we're supposed to be wearing after I took a permanent marker and made the 'brown' part all black.I'd imagine they wont last as long as my last pair of brogans that I had made for me from all leather - but hey - for the price and comfort - I'll take them!

I really like these shoes and I get a lot of compliments on them. They are pretty well made, and are rather comfortable. The rubber soles don’t squeak, nor are they slippery on smooth surfaces. I normally wear a US10.5, but decided to go with a 10, and they fit perfectly.I think the only thing I don’t like about them is that they don’t breath very well and my feet get kinda swampy.Otherwise, very well made shoe, clean look, good option if you don’t like suede.

Good boots for the money. I listened to other reviews that said these boots ran small, so I ordered a full size larger than I normally wear. As it turned out, I ended up with boots that were a size too large. Go figure. After adding a couple of pairs of inserts they were fine. I am happy with the purchase.

I usually wear 9.5 shoes but I got it nine but these are little bit big for me so I’m returning these and ordered size 8 and it’s fits perfectly

-Pros: the shoes look and feel of very good quality for the price, I am definitely happy with them so far, they also arrived way before expected.-Cons: I ordered my 11 and it ended up bigger than other 11.5 shoes that I have, so returned it and ordered 10 which is fine. However, my feet particularly are quite wide, so it is a bit uncomfortable after long hours using it (But I have the same problem with all the other "hard" shoes because of the wide of my feet.-Overall: I am happy with the quality of the product at that price

This product is value for money. It's not the most expensive on the market of its type so don't expect the comfort of the more expensive brands. However, for its price this shoe is really stylish and easy on the eye. My first wear was abit uncomfortable because the material was a bit stiff but from the second wear the comfort levels have risen and now it is one of my favourite. The fit was great, for those with narrow feet it should be no problem. For those with broader feet, it maybe a little uncomfortable for the first wear but it stretches to suit.I will purchase again.

These are really good boots. Note these are not real leather boots. But they are comfortable and fits as expected. I normally wear a 11 or 11.5. I purchased the 11 and they are spot on. I would definitely recommend.

I bought these as a kick around pair of shoes. The fit is unusual. My feet are narrow so they work for me, but I couldn’t imagine anyone with wide or normal width feet being comforable in these shoes. I did buy 1/2 size down and they fit me properly front to back. If you have wider feet you may want to buy your actual size. They look ok, and for the price I paid, I’m happy with my purchase.**Update: I’ve pretty much worn these shoes every day since I received them. They’ve broken in so the fit is now better than unusual. They are narrow, but that works for me. If you have a wide foot, these probably won’t work. At under $25, they are a decent bargain.
