Comfortable for both of us!
My Chiweenie is getting older and canโt walk as far on our walks anymore but my other dog still needs exercise. I tried a dog stroller but it is cumbersome and hard to push while managing another dog on the leash. This is the first sling Ivโe tried and it works perfectly. It is comfortable for both of us. He is 12 lbs for reference.

Ninja vanish- POOF!!!!
Bought this bag for my 11 pound chiweenie. I already had a much more expensive Kurgo backpack. Despite the price, it has a lot of problems- support struts that are always getting dislodged, too little mesh that's poorly layered, and too squarish and bulky to be mistaken for an ordinary backpack. My baby was always uncomfortable and fidgety, and the bag was just too conspicuous. Not a good clandestine choice. I got the large 1.0 on a whim, figuring I could just return it if things were no better. I honestly wasn't expecting much, but dang!- this is THE bag for getting my baby into non-dog spaces without attracting attention. It just looks like a kind of an ugly messenger bag, and she doesn't squirm or fuss inside of it because it's big and hammocklike for her. Getting her in is a bit of a chore sometimes, but once everything is zipped and cinched up, POOF!, nowhere to be seen (except her little black nose sticking out of the hole sometimes)! I've make hundreds of store runs with her at this point and I almost never get a second glance, much less called out. Now I don't ever have to worry about leaving her at home if I don't want to. We've taken to affectionately calling it the ninja bag, and it's one of the best impulse buys I've ever made!

Happy purchase
My little dog loves it. My only complaint is the shoulder strap is a little uncomfortable.

Came used!
So I love this my dog fits in here perfectly, and he actually doesnโt seem to mind being in it. It had a comfortable strap for me which is nice. The downfall of this and it may have just been mine, but I was disappointed it seemed to be an already used product. It had tons of hair inside and out when I got it! Like it hadnโt just been tried on a dog someone had used it multiple times.

Nice bag but an extra lagre would be nice
I have a fat female Yorkie. She is probably about 18 lbs. She fits in this bag but it is a little snug. Because of how the unit zips around her neck she can not jump out and hurt herself. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and this one seem to be the best. So far I am very please. I wish it were a little bigger and all black instead of grey and black.

So glad I got this.
My dog is 12 lbs, so any carrier is going to be uncomfy after a bit just because he gets heavy. Just imagine strapping any 12 lb kid to you for any length of time. The wide strap REALLY helps with that. Also, the fact that I can shift it from front, to hip, and back again helps keep me from fatiguing quickly. He is big enough that I never zip it up. He just lays in there, head and front paws out, very content. I pull the strap up in the front so he is in more of a seated position. He can see more, and he likes that. It gets warm, so I only use it where there's air conditioning (stores, malls, etc), or outside when cool/cold. Again, like strapping a 12 lb kid to you, I'm not sure there really could be a "cool" option in the summer, no matter what the fabric, lol. Two bodies strapped together are always going to get somewhat warm.

Great product but did not work for me
I have a 14 year old Boston Terrier who is blind, mostly deaf and has lingering symptoms of vestibular disease. In her old age she is most comfortable by my side. Our original bag was a front facing book bag that she could sit in but it did not allow her to lay down. I wanted this to work because she fit in it perfectly and could comfortably sleep while I carried her. The only issue is my strength. She is about 16-17 pounds and the pressure point on my shoulder from her weight made it so I could only carry her 15-20 minutes at a time. Unfortunately, I need to be able to carry her a lot longer than that and am on the hunt for something more comfortable for me. If she was under 10 pounds I feel as though this bag would have been perfect.

pretty good if you are realistic
I needed a bag for my chihuahua who has some mobility issues. She cannot take really long walks, her back legs can't handle it. I saw this bag and said what the heck, it's reasonably priced. Here is the breakdown... Warning--- I have 4 dogs, who are all under 25 lbs. Pros It works- she rides in it well. Easy to get her in and out (mostly, see later notes). I got the bigger one and that's ok because I needed to carry one of my other dogs one day and he fit (sort of) as well. I also had another dog recovering from a spay that needed walk restrictions and she rode in it smoothly. You can put a towel or blanket in if needed. Rides decent- it is on your chest/ belly area. Does bounce a little but stay there. (see other notes) Affordable- for the price, its easier than making your own. Cons Ride quality- there is no stabilizer strap across your middle so it bounces and swings out when you lean. I have to bend over to pick up poop 4 times during our walks so this can be a bother. Adjustability- This is really a bad point. There is very little adjustability. The one point lets you shorten the strap a little. I find myself hiking this thing up higher on my chest regularly even with my 9 lb dog. Dog retention- there is this weird, for lack of a better term, choker string that has a barrel adjuster on the neck area. It is inconvenient and for us, not needed. It gets in the way of loading/unloading. Breathability- it gets darn hot in there in the summer heat, I just carried her, winter should be fine. Storage- Hahahahaha!!! Unless you have a Nokia flip phone from the 80's there is no storage! There is a tiny mesh pocket on the strap. That's it! If I am going for a long walk with my guys (1.5 hours) I have to put on a backpack with water bottle and bowl. Then put the dog carry bag on. I barely can fit 4 dog harnesses and their 6 foot leads in this thing. As with any purchase, this is based on your needs. If you have a mobility challenged pet, you guys don't walk very far or you are ok with carrying him/her a lot, then you can use this bag. If you carry your phone, wallet and keys with you when you walk you should use some other sort of bag in addition to this one. In a rainstorm I was able to put part of my coat over her but this bag is not waterproof at all and I would not trust it to hold electronics. Though I guess if you have room you could put it under your dog in a ziploc wrapped in a towel? For a relatively cheap solution, for a very specific situation, this bag does work. Do your research and get out there with your pup!
