This item (book A) is NOT kindergarten level unless you have a child who has no experience with number recognition or basic shapes. I would recommend for age 3 to 4. Disappointed that I will have to pay full shipping charges to return which was the cost of the book. I could get a similar item at the Dollar General store for a dollar. I have used Singapore with my older child and it was very good and also advanced. (please note that this item is apparently only the 1st book out of 4, it may get more advanced as the books progress but I was not aware that this was a VERY beginner book and requires more books to be a complete course. )
