I got the Black and gold with classic green lens in 49mm. I have a small face for a guy and the 53mm in the Club Master style was just too big by way of the bottom of the lenses extending too far down the front of my face. Conversely, the 49mm's lenses stop right at the top of my check bone and not extending below it which gives the glasses a balanced look to my face while also giving me good coverage over my eyes. Plus, the temples on the glasses are also nicely narrowed on the 49mm in which the temple points are flared out past the sides of my head making them look like some sort of wing or antenna! Again well proportioned. I have tried several cheap knock-off versions as well as several moderately priced Club Master versions and NONE have the 49mm proportions that make the Ray Bans so perfect. There is always something off with the others such as the temples are flared too much, the lenses are too rounded, the lenses are too big, the finish is too matte or glossy, the arms are too wide, the top frame is too wide, too narrow or the frame color is too weird or they just feel too cheap. Lastly, a huge plus is the made in Italy on the right temple arm and the RB etched on the left lens. When on sale, these along with any other classic Ray Ban styles are an exceptionally great deal.

Recently bought the 49mm Classic Clubmaster for my girlfriend. She has wanted a very simple pair (black frame, black lens, gold hardware) of sunglasses for everyday use. Got these at a really good price. Buying them directly from Ray-Ban will cost $145 (plus tax it'll be around the $150 range), so being able to get these for $90 was a treat. They look really good on her! I'm actually pretty jealous now and would like to get a pair for myself, though I'd probably grab the 51mm version of this. I didn't notice the Made in China tag, will check and update this but so far there are no signs that the quality is substandard. These are just stunning. Just a very classic look. Here's hoping they can survive a couple of years. Edit: Bought the 51mm version for myself and have no regrets, except that I should have bought it sooner! Really enjoying using these. Hopefully will not have to get another pair for years to come. The glasses are indeed made in China, as indicated on one of the temples. No noticeable difference in terms of quality. Oh and I don't know if this matters to anyone, but the first pair I bought (41mm) came with a brown case but the second pair (51mm) came with a black case. I don't know if it's because of the differing sizes or if the cases are selected randomly. Doesn't really make a difference to me but wouldn't mind an explanation.
