Title: Saved My North Face Jacket I used this Tenacious Tape after my North Face jacket got a few rips. The variety of sizes and shapes made it easy to choose patches that fit each tear well. I especially liked that the different shapes made the patches look more like logos than repairs. So far, they have held up extremely well. After a full season of use, they have not come off or even started peeling. I have worn the jacket in both rain and snow, and the patches are still firmly in place. I’m glad I was able to save my jacket. This was a great buy compared with the cost of replacing it.

I discovered that I had some burn holes in my hot tent after a camping trip this past winter. I am new to camping with wood stoves…let me just say that mistakes were made! I needed a solution that would make my tent waterproof again. The GEAR AID Tenacious Tape Repair Patches seemed to be the solution I was seeking, so I ordered them. I was pleased that they come in a variety of shapes and sizes that fit the burn holes perfectly. There are small patches and larger ones that can be cut to size, so they are versatile. Anyway, I cleaned the damaged areas and applied the patches. They adhered securely and made a good seal. The small holes only needed a patch on the outside. For the bigger ones, I applied a patch on both the outside and inside. I have now used my tent on four trips since making my repairs. A couple of those trips included some moderate rain, so it was a good test for the patches. I’m pleased to report that I had no leaks! The patches stayed put and seem to be a good long term fix. I’m satisfied. The patches were a great value for me…they restored the integrity of my tent, and I plan to get many more years of camping trips from it. The neutral color of the patches also were a good match for my tent, and they aren’t obvious unless you look for them. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. The patches saved me from having to retire my favorite hot tent prematurely. They did what I needed them to do, and they are worth every penny because my alternative was purchasing a new tent. Great product!

These are so cute and they're big enough to fix any repair

These things have saved so many pieces of my (and my kid's and friends') gear. I've used them on at least 5 down jackets that had rips. I'm talking Pataginia, Outdoor Research, Spyder, Stio, etc. They fixed a pair of ski pants that got sliced by a ski. They fixed a down sleeping bag that was pouring feathers out if it. They fixed a down comforter (cotton shell) that a cat claw ripped open. The best story I have is how I went a$$ over teacups on my bicycle on a spring time ride. Landed on my shoulder in my favorite down pullover. Ripped the jacket through both layers of nylon. Feathers were pouring out of it as I limp/rode my bike home. I looked like one of those chicken trucks driving down the highway, all the feathers trailing me. Used a ton of the patches (see pic in review) to patch the huge rips in the jacket and can still wear it - this jacket that otherwise would have been trash. They have saved me thousands of dollars. I will always keep some handy. The money saving thing is great but I also really appreciate being able to keep using gear and keeping it out of the landfill. They make sustainability easier to accomplish. Also they give gear a little street cred and character to boot. As far as applying them I follow the instructions and have never had an issue. Been successful on nylon, brushed cotton and hardshell materials.

Just the job. Very strong adhesive and nice patterns. A very good product.

Patches blend in well to a black puffer jacket

Patched up a tear in my down puffy jacket. I was worried about adhearing to the ultra thin material, but these patches work perfectly. They are lightweight, and super sticky. Also love the Sasquatch designs!!
