I was a little nervous about these at first bc I didn’t want to buy two packs for a thicker look, but alone & side by side they looked great on my windows. Nice and shiny/metallic. They do rip very easily so keep that in mind when handling. The adhesive works really well at keeping them up and hanging was a breeze. I was also able to trim them to fit my windows, but they are really long if you need them for taller spaces.

These fringe curtain backgrounds were absolutely perfect for our joint birthday party! I celebrated my 30th and my son turned 10, and the decorations made it feel like two separate parties in one space while still tying everything together beautifully. This stuff is really pretty, easy to install and transformed the banquet hall of the lodge for New Year's Eve. I only gave it four stars because it is not very wide and took a lot to cover the walls of the room. It's date up for days after the party and didn't tear easily. So it is a pretty decent value for your money.

No, the adhesive is not terrible strong. I tie string along the length where I want to hang tinsel (I use it in doorways for my kids' birthdays). I run the string longer than the width of the doorway so that I have a place to tie the string -- I usually use the hinges of other nearby doors. Then, I wrap the adhesive part of the tinsel around the string, affixing the adhesive to itself. This works well. If I try to hang the tinsel from the wall above the door frame, the weight of the tinsel pries the adhesive loose from the wall. My string method works well and, also, makes the product highly recyclable. I untie the string and wrap it up with the tinsel -- storing it until the next time I need it. I've purchased this product in gold and purple. Great shimmer and happy, festive colors. Eventually, the tinsel gets pulled/stepped on and it becomes too "bald" to recycle. But if it weren't in a doorway where it was getting pushed and walked on a bit, it could last indefinitely. At $10-14 for 4 packs, it's a great value, especially because it's so tall (approx. 6 feet) and nicely dense.
