I have a makita jigsaw already. But I try and have a spare one so when I got this I didn’t think it would be a good one but I was wrong it’s as good if not better than the makita. Wesco is now my go to company for most of my tools now the price is unbeatable. I don’t know how they make any kind of a profit.

This jigsaw is a good weight and has plenty of power for the job. Good selection of blades. My only complaint is that after plugging in is that you could see small sparks and slight smoke coming from the switch to operate the work light. Then the light stopped working. Saw itself works so can't really complain for the price that I payed for it I suppose.

So far has proved to be a Very Robust Saw.. far better than Anticipated.its Accurate &..Powerful enough for its Domestic Tasks.. Easy Blade change..All around no fuss and so far Reliable..I would Reccomend it just by it's usage to Date..Plus the Wesco Brand is Proving to be a Worthwhile investment at a Reasonable Outlay.. Good functionality and performance. Variable speeds are handy. The lateral guide you can fit to help cutting straight is helpful. If you are a diy-er and not a pro, would recommend you read the User guide in full as It gives lots of essential advice, I wish they did it in a bright pink, as it would annoy the Wife and she would stop nagging me to fix the garden gate!

I liked the angle cut on this. But it’s for a gift and has not been used yet

Amazing tool and reasonably priced

It’s a good workhorse, solid body and actually solid everything. It’s on offer at the moment and works out at under £40 so that is very good value for this saw. The body is strong and holds the blade in position with a decent roller, Wesco are quickly becoming a go to brand, I have got a few but from them and they seem to populate the mid to mid high range quality but all of their tools have worked great for me. I’ve used this quite a bit on some decking as my circular saw went caput and also some garden treated timber used as ceiling buttons and it’s handled it all brilliantly. The dust extraction works the same as all these kind of tools where it gets the lions share but you still get a good covering around everything which must be expected. It’s pretty easy changing the blade and it does fit my standard blades. It’s a solid jigsaw that will easily handle all those jobs around the house, I’m pleased with it. One thing is that it doesn’t have the higher quality strong rubber body and handle but performance wise it’s well worth the money

Ideal this suited my needs perfectly The working light was particularly useful.
