Mucinex 12 Hour 600mg Guaifenesin Chest Congestion & Mucus Relief, Guaifenesin Expectorant Aids Mucus Removal & Mucus Relief, Chest Decongestant for Adults, Dr Recommended, 500ct Tablets

I have taken this brand name Musinex daily for years for a lung condition that I have. I only buy this brand name, generic just doesn't work the same for me, and also the shape of these makes it relatively easy to swallow. I do find that I need to drink a lot of water with it, or sometime it can give me heartburn if I don't. They work great to help keep the mucous moving in my lungs, and sinuses also. It helps keep the eustachian tubes clear. I recently used my flex spending account card to purchase the 500 count bottle. I was nervous that the expiration date may be too soon, but upon arrival I checked, and this bottle still has two years to go! The other reason I wanted the bottle, was that I no longer have to pop them out of the foil card things!

Expensive but irreplaceable. I take it year round and would never use those Chinese knockoffs that who knows what's in them.

Not much to say but you get a great savings here if you look at what it costs to buy these in the store.

My doctor recommended this. It works good, as I'm on oxygen.

I had shied away from the Mucinex brand because of their high prices, opting instead for "knock-offs" that have the same active ingredient (Guaifenesin 600mg) at half the Mucinex price. The last time I planned to place an order for a "knock-off" brand ("store brand" if you prefer), I found that Amazon had managed to offer Mucinex at a low-enough price to make me choose the standard Mucinex brand. (Amazon was using coupons and/or other discounts to bring the price down to an affordable-consumer-level.) I use to buy 100-tablet bottles of any brand but if you use 4 per day as I do, that amounts to only 25 days' worth of medications. So I've been opting for a 500-tablet bottle, whether Mucinex brand or a "knock-off". Just keep the old 100-tablet containers for active daily use. Pour enough tablets from the 500-tablet bottles to fill up an easier-to-handle Mucinex (or other brand) 100-tablet bottle. Should you decide to buy a "knock-off" brand be sure that their active ingredient is the same as Mucinex': ‘Guaifenesin 600mg’ ("600mg” if you take 4 per day as I do),

I need this for my fibromyalgia, and I take two a day. I used to get this on subscribe and save but it is no longer available in that program. I am very bummed. When you go through a lot of it like I do, it's best to get a bunch of it at a good price than to have to sit there with the little blister packs and pop out the pills one at a time! That's a real pain in the behind!
