My go to hiking boots!
These are the third pair I have owned. Wear them almost daily. Very comfortable. Durable. Great hiking boot. I have a wide toe box, and have a difficult time finding hiking boots that don't cause blisters on the sides of my pinky toe. These are wider and don't cause that rubbing. Good ankle support. I like that they don't look bulky and can be worn with jeans for everyday occasions

Worth every penny!
I never gave much thought to hiking shoes until my husband and I trekked through one of Texas' many state parks and I tweaked my ankle a couple miles from the trail head on some shifty terrain. After that trip I retired my "trail" tennis shoes and started researching hiking boots. I walked around REI in a pair of Merrell's for about 30 minutes and while they were somewhat comfy they were quite heavy and my legs felt like I'd spent a half hour at the gym. So I went back to the drawing board and found Keen and I'm glad I did. I put them on when they came in and walked around my office in them for a few minutes; then proceeded to wear them on a 6 mile hike the next day. They required no break-in time! They are incredibly comfortable straight out of the box. They are lightweight and they are waterproof which is a huge bonus! A couple thigs to note... These are a narrower designed shoe so plan to go up a size if you have a wider foot or if you wear thicker socks. I normally wear a 6 but ordered a 7 to accommodate my hiking socks and I am very pleased with my purchase. Plan to have to pause a couple of times and adjust your laces until you figure out how tight/lose to get them around the shaft of the boot. Once I got that dialed in I was good to go!

A more narrow Keen toe box is tighter.
I usually wear a 9.5. I had to go up a full-size to a 10.5 to allow my toes to be able to wiggle and not be pressed against the toe of the shoe. In the photo you see my old keen and the new. I like the wider shoe with the larger toe box of my old pair better. They were incredibly comfortable the moment I took them home. I like the style of shoe because it is flexible and light as it is a sneaker style rather than a stiff boot style. If you want a stiff boot, do not get this shoe. I think most people buy this brand due to it is more roomy. It would be good for the company to recognize that and be consistent with the wider toe box sizing. Or they will lose their dedicated followers. I will keep the 10.5 it will work.

Very good but runs slightly small...NOT WIDE they may strech at little
I read reviews for Keen products and decided to size up. I bought a size 8 in the Targhee 2 Mid Height and they were too big. My feet were floating and they did kind of look like clodhoppers. I returned and bought these in a 7.5. They are snug but getting more comfortable. UPDATE: I went ahead and bought another pair - sized up and they fit better. My regular size is a little tight but ok if I take out the inserts - but I want the inserts so I bought an 8. These are NOT WIDE fit - the Targhee pair was too wide. Now I have 2 pair - that is OK.

Oddly smallish, yet works for my thinner foot.
They are so cute in the red shade, and while I did have to remove my thickest socks to wear these, I can still wear a decently thick sock and had zero issues on my first short hike on a wet trail after rain. If your feet are plump, these will not work well. I have Sideshow Bob feet. My daughter loved her Keen hiking sneakers and after my Ahnu boots sustained critical damage after 7 years of valiant service on Guadeloupe Mountain, I knew it was time to consider new boots for safety. When not in the wilderness I wear Easy Spirit as my favorite walker. Just hope these details will help you decide if these are right for you. Also, I got this through the Amazon Warehouse program and I was very pleased by my purchase. Despite the fact they seem to have been returned, they were a great find.

Two narrow of a tow box
It's a beautiful boot with a wonderful insole. Sadly the toe box is just too small I typically wear a size 8 and I have a slender foot. The 8th was extremely too small so I ordered the eight and a half the eight and a half fit pretty decent but squeezed my little toe a lot so I ordered a nine and the nine I had a little bit more room for my little toe but they were too long and they also did squeeze my little toe a bit. The ankle support and the insole are amazing I wish this was sold with a wide toe box

Great lightweight waterproof hiking boots!
My favorite summer keen hiking boots!!! Im on my 4th pair. Waterproof, mesh fabric so cool for summer hiking, decent tred, softer sole. Great for general trail hiking. If there are going to be lots of rocks, you will want a stiffer sole. Back heel tab for comfort.

Trusted the reviews and got a pair of comfy shoes
Bought this to replace my 15-year old North Face hiking boots, despite not having any experience with Keens. But the reviews of other buyers convinced me to try them. Out of the box, they are already quite comfortable and my feet feel protected and supported. I have wide feet but these boots do not feel constricting, and appear to be ready for the trail without any break in period. These are also my first pair of hiking boots without a Vibram sole so will see if there is a significant difference. Overall am happy I got these, and on sale too.

Excellent dog walking boot
Really pleased with these. Wore straight from the box for at least a couple of miles, dog walking on rough and very wet/muddy terrain. No rubbing or discomfort at all. I’m ideally a size 4.5 but ordered a 5 as I rarely wear thick socks, preferring thin cotton socks. Fit is perfect, snug but not too tight. Feet have remained perfectly dry although I’ve been through many muddy puddles. Good grip on wet, muddy fields and rocky paths. I feel as if I actually walk straighter and with more upright confidence, in comparison to trainers and other comfort fit boots. Excellent value for money (approx £45). Definitely recommend. I”m 60 and suffer with joint aches and pains, including in feet/ankles. These are proving to be a very wise purchase so far.
