I have somewhat small hands for a man, but the medium fit me perfectly (so I would say runs just a tad small). I love how they let air circulate to your hands (been a dry 90 the last few days and the only time my hands sweat is when I get off the bike). That said, these would not be too great in cold or wet weather as it does let air in. Had a small rock hit the knuckles the other day and didnt feel a thing. the palm pad armor looks is in just the right place to protect your palm if you ever lay it down and try to (catch) yourself. Now, I did drop a star because the grippers on the palm REALLY stick. If you have a bike with a really light throttle (and sticky grips), it will stick to your glove when coming off the brake.
