Honestly life-changing
I am not exaggerating when I say this product has changed my life. I am 33 and have lived with ulcerative colitis for over 15 years now, so I am well acquainted with my bowel and itās health. My symptoms are well managed with medication, but over the last three years Iāve experienced a significant uptick in social anxiety, which causes me to have gastrointestinal symptoms, which make me anxious, which worsens my symptoms, etc. It became a vicious cycle that I couldnāt break free from. I saw a psychiatrist who prescribed me anxiolytics and my gastroenterologist who prescribed smooth muscle relaxers. I would need to take Xanax and Imodium when traveling and even then I was miserable. It finally got to the point where I was avoiding leaving the house at all, even for doctorās appointments or to grocery shop, because the second I did I would have a panic attack and simultaneously need to use the restroom. So thatās where I found myself, relying on unpleasant medications and still unable to enjoy my life, when it finally occurred to me that there might be an even simpler solution. Various people in my life had at one time or another raved about fiber supplements, but I had always though they were something only āold peopleā needed. Still, I was desperate, so I picked up some Metamucil. I didnāt even finish a quarter of the container, it was so gritty, gelatinous and overly sweet. Not wanting to give up on the fiber idea, I tried Heatherās. Let me tell you, this stuff is head and shoulders better than Metamucil. It dissolves completely with no gelatinous texture or flavor. It is 100% natural and easy to incorporate into my diet. I mix 2 tsp each morning with a yogurt drink or smoothie, and 2 tsp at night, usually in a hot beverage like cocoa or a golden latte. As the product container itself notes, the powder doesnāt always dissolve well in very hot or cold liquids and tends to clump up. I avoid this by blending well with a milk frother. Iāve also sprinkled the powder over cereal, mixed into applesauce, even soup! Adding a teaspoon here and there has made it so that my urgency is a thing of the past! And not worrying about whether I might sh*t my pants has made it so that Iām less anxious about leaving the house. Combined with a gut-directed hypnotherapy program, Heatherās has given me my life back!

User for life
Like many people who have bought and used Heather's Tummy Fiber, I have IBS. I have tried lots of different commercially available fiber supplements from all different brands and Heather's has BY FAR worked the best for me. Unlike other fibers, especially those containing Inulin, Heather's doesn't make my stomach upset or give me gas (sorry for the TMI lol). I typically use it twice a day - once in my morning cup of coffee and then once in my evening cup of tea or water, etc. I usually mix it with something hot just because it dissolves faster and I don't have to spend as much time stirring. If you buy the canister there are dosage instructions on the back (I forgot to look if there were instructions on the back of the pouch before I threw it away, so if anyone knows and can post about it that would be great). Experimenting with the dosage takes a little time because everyone's digestive system is different, but it is well worth it in the end. Something to note is that your body's own fiber requirements may change over time as well. I used to use the minimum amount, which worked fine for a while. My stomach started to get a little touchy again as winter progressed and I was moving around less, however, so I tried upping the dose a little. My digestive system was happy again. Now that it's summer and I'm back to being my normal active self my stomach is perfectly happy with returning to the the lower dose . So you really have to test your body and see what's best for you. Another nice thing about Heather's is that I can't taste it at all when it's completely mixed in, which is nice, and it has really helped to keep my digestion regulated and my stomach happy. One canister has lasted me over 5 months - I actually just bought this pouch to refill the canister. That's the only thing I would say in warning - buy the canister first or have another method of storage ready. There is no way to reseal this pouch, so you'll need a container to store it in. As a side note, I also bought Heather's peppermint tea for IBS and use it in conjunction with the fiber supplement. Heather's fiber keeps my digestion running on schedule and the tea works great for attacks and keeping my stomach happy when I eat something I shouldn't lol. Basically what I'm saying is that Heather has found a lifetime user in myself and I hope if you try it out it helps you as much as it has helped me.

Amazing to treat IBS, dissolves completely in liquid without getting lumpy or a jelly - like blob like psyllium. It does not have any taste or smell either, so ones can drink it in a glass of water and not even notice it. I bought others acacia powder supplements as such one called NOW and it was like taking a completely different product. NOW it's awful and could cause constipation. I warmly recommend this product and I personally know other users which are very happy about it. It doesn't just address the problem but, with time, it improves it to the stage that it is possible to take less and less, just 1 teaspoon in the morning and 1 in the evening, or not taking it at all for a while (2/3 weeks) and still feel fine.

This for me is the only product that has helped my Ibs-c, add to your diet slowly, I mix 2 teaspoons in water, once in the morning (in coffee too) and once in the late afternoon/evening. This is unformentable soluble fibre which is very important. Won't bloat like husk does, also no horrible sweeteners like fibre-gel. I wouldn't take with probiotics unless you work outside on your own... If you get what I mean... Anyway, this stuff slowly sorts out your bacteria problems too, so would recommend fodmap diet, with this product for a few months, then bring in the different fodmaps a one at a time. Anyway this stuff works, just give it time and don't rush in too soon with too big a dose, literally 1/8 teaspoon for the first few days,
