This is the most amazing tool. I should have purchased this years ago when I purchased my longarm quilting machine. Now that I have recently purchased my commercial machine embroidery setup, I couldn't continue without the ability to check now both machines now. I feel so much better about both set-ups now that I know I am within the measurements recommended by each manufacturer. A+ for compatibility, value for the money, durability and now that I can be sure of both the top and bottom tension.

This is a life saver, it’s superb! No more tension issues on my machines. It’s simple and easy to use. You’ll need to search online or read the machine manual, to know the correct tension number for your machine, and watch some videos on YouTube to understand how to use this cool gadget.

I would rate 4.5 stars of I had a way to confirm it's calibrated giving exact readings. While it works good overall, the way the bobbin sits in is a bit funky. But for what it is, I do recommend it.

It does it’s job. I got this because of the bobbin tension was causing breaking and the method the embroidery machine said to use was not very accurate or practical. With this tool I can set both lower and upper thread tension to a very precise tension repeatedly. I use this with each lower bobbin change and therefore just fine tune the upper tension accordingly to get the stitch close to perfect.

I have a 15 needle embroidery machine that needed to be dialed in. This product is really expensive for what it is in my opinion but absolutely alleviated my problems. No more guessing games on what isn't tensioned properly, Bobbin or tensioners.

Definitely worth the price. I ended up using this little guy to troubleshoot and diagnose one of my needles that had wayy too much tension. Yes it works on both your top threads and your bobbin, plenty of tutorials on YouTube if you get lost.

I was having trouble with my embroidery machine. Just couldn't get the tension right. This little device was so easy to use and now my tension is spot on. Quite the great little device.

I do sewing machine repairs. This little device is great when you need to set tensions to factory spec or to just test tension. I don’t always use the bobbin inserts but they are great when you have the correct bobbin for the supplied inserts.

Leider weigert sich der Verkäufer, eine Rechnung mit ausgewiesener deutscher MwSt zu senden, da er aus CHINA verschickt. Somit ist die Amazon TEXTBESCHREIBUNG FALSCH.

My wife, being a quilter has struggled with bobbin tensions, which often results in broken thread....this little gizmo seems to have solved that problem...limited use so far, but great results...
