I always fold ours in quarters --in-half, then in-half again--to store them. These pads are extremely well made, and can take a lot of washing, drying, and folding without damage. We have other pads that have already lasted over 18 months with such treatment; and, these pads are better-made and should last even longer than that.

Q: Does this pad have any chemical odor?

I cannot remember any smell when new, but I’m not certain. However, I am sure that after washing it has had no noticeable odor. I have been very happy with this pad. It washes well in the washer & dryer and looks new.

I don't. But it dries pretty fast if you hang it up/
