I just used the dehydrator on some sweet potatoes. They came out perfectly. Not rubbery. I did what the instructions said. I liked them but my dogs went crazy for them. Easy to use, easy to clean. It does do what it says it does. At a great price too.

This is our first dehydrator, got it for mt daughter for Easter because she wanted to make her own beef jerky and it’s amazing. We’ve made it 3 times and this works so well. We love it and it fits a lot even though it seems small which is great if you don’t have a lot of space.Very easy to use and clean.

The Good: * I like the timer in one hour increments * It has several different pre-defined temperatures, which happen to work well for my use case (I'm actually using it to dry out 3D printer filament) * It's small and doesn't take up much room when not in use * It is clean and looks good on the desk when I'm drying filament The Meh: * The fan is a touch loud. Not bad, and it doesn't squeal or anything, just a little loud * The beeps are very loud, but you only hear them when setting up the timer and temperature The Bad: * Nothing The Verdict: Definitely recommend, especially for 3D printing hobbyists. I got this as it was recommended for drying 3D filament, and it works great. The highest temp it goes, 158 F, is just about perfect for drying PETG filament, which I use a lot of.

✨Update: Still using it and loving it for the price point! I still use this regularly and it’s been reliable for making snacks. It works well and gets the job done every time. That said, it’s a bit louder than I expected and does give off some heat while running. Even with that, I’ll keep using it because it’s consistent and dependable. I’ve been genuinely impressed with this dehydrator and use it regularly. It’s very easy to use, heats evenly, and has plenty of tray space, which makes it great for making snacks at home in larger batches. I mainly use it for dehydrated fruit and snacks like bananas, mangoes, and chickpeas, and everything has turned out consistently well with a great texture every time. One of the biggest wins for me has been the cost savings. I used to spend quite a bit on store-bought dehydrated fruit, and making my own has saved a lot of money. I also love knowing exactly what’s in my snacks—no added sugar, preservatives, or fillers. Even with frequent use, I haven’t noticed any real increase in my electricity bill, which was a pleasant surprise. The trays are easy to clean, the controls are simple and straightforward, and it runs quietly enough that I feel comfortable leaving it on overnight. It’s become a regular part of my kitchen routine and makes healthy snacking easy and enjoyable. One small con: if you’re brand new to dehydrating, there’s a bit of trial and error at first to figure out ideal slice thickness and timing for different foods. Once you get the hang of it, though, it’s very easy and consistent. This has been a fantastic purchase. It’s reliable, efficient, and well worth it if you want to make your own snacks at home. I’m very happy with it and would absolutely recommend it..especially as a starter dehydrator!

Very easy to use there about five or six trays the settings are good to control how long you want to dehydrate and the trees rotate made of good material.

This is a pretty good dehydrator when you consider the price point and the unit's compact nature. I've used it a couple times and it works quietly and efficiently. Where it falls short is in its nonstandard size. The trays have large holes, which allow the air to circulate freely. But it also means that smaller items can easily fall through. This is actually a big issue unless all you're planning to dehydrate are larger sized food items. If not, the solution is silicone mesh inserts, which can be purchased separately. However, most accessories are larger than the trays for this model. Mesh sheets can be cut to size, but you'd be hard pressed to find silicone mats for making fruit leather that will fit. I purchased ones that were larger and cut those to size as well, but you lose the raised lip on the edge that keeps liquids and purees from leaking. That's not an easy fix with this model. In the end, I would advise AGAINST this model if you are planning on making fruit leather. For anything else, just know that you'll likely wind up cutting mesh silicone mats (which are pretty much a necessity) to match the nontraditional tray size.

I am a newbie at dehydrating anything . The first thing I did was some cocoa beans and then I did some banana chips. I still have a lot to try out. Like eggs and the such... But for not knowing much.... It is easy to use and my banana chips turned out awesome.

i wanted a food dryer to take advantage of all the half priced fruits and vegetables in the stores, and more so, to make wholesome dried treats for my dog, like dried yams and things. I found this unit on amazon, decently priced at 54 dollars, and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It is a great little unit. i say little, but it is almost 12 inches in diameter, and has 5 trays, so there is a lot of surface area. The dial has 3 temperature ranges, from 95 to 150 degrees, in a continuous setting, so you can set any temperature between the two. the dial is analog, not digital there is no display but who cares. I don't need to control it from my smartphone. the booklet is very helpful, tells you all the drying times necessary. It was a pain at the start when i unboxed it, because you have to wash up everything, then run it for a minimum of 30 minutes to burn off any manufacturing residue, then wash it up again. It compares very favorably with units costing up to 2 hundred dollars. some of them, more. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this unit, being made in China and all, and would definitely buy it again.

Buenos materiales, la use para secar carne y es un poco más de tiempo que el viene marcado en el manual, pero muy buena, muy silenciosa para usar y un poco dificilmde limpiar

Llegó hace unas horas, estoy leyendo el manual, me será muy útil para lo que la necesito, se ve muy bien y el manual está muy completo.
