ION Pathfinder 4 Bluetooth Portable Speaker with Wireless Qi Charging (Renewed)

Great sound, battery lasts a long time even with volume high.

I bought this to carry on truck with me as a UPS delivery driver I use this speaker for an average of 12 hours a day 6 days a week at about 85% volume. I only have to charge it twice during the week.It also manages to take quite a beating, Sometimes I have it ride un-secured and it bangs around against a metal enclosure, it sustains exterior body damage but the drivers seem to be completely unaffected. But if you need it tied down the handles make excellent spots too loop a ratchet strap and are Very sturdy.The volume is fantastic, some of the trucks I drive are old as the dirt with 700k miles, yes seven hundred THOUSAND miles, on old diesel trucks, and I can hear it over the racket they make and even hear it to and from front doors while I deliver.After work I take it to volley ball in the park, or pool parties, or BBQs and it’s always been loud enough to get the party goin’.If by some strange circumstance it isn’t enough, I once had the opportunity to sync up two of them at a BBQ, they will pair with each other like a UE Boom and you can control both from one phone.Only complaint is that it doesn’t have a mic jack like the Ion Blockrocker. Even though amazon says it is frequently bought with a mic.Oh and theres a little bit of static fuzz but it is totally negligible unless you’re an audiophile nut case who expects a sub $200, bluetooth, 120 watt, water-resistant speaker to be equal to a $700 studio speaker.

Bought my refurbished Pathfinder Bluetooth speaker almost 5 years ago. I use it at least once a week on a football field. Great sound in wide open areas. Great battery life. Easy to roll around like a carry on suitcase. This has been in a couple rainstorms, full sun in 100 degree heat, snow. Holds up well. Great purchase.

I have had this speaker for 5 months and it has gradually turned to garbage. This was a renewed item so I expected it to be used, but the description said it had some wear (a little more than expected), it connects to bluetooth easily and has a durable design. I have purchase 3 of this model brand new for 3 teachers. The speakers that were purchase new (3 years ago) are still performing great and they are used daily! The refurbished speaker was not worth the $$$. The sound is not good and it does not hold a charge. I would recommend paying the $40-$50 more for a new one. Super disappointed for something coming from Amazon.

So far we have used this speaker at 2 picnics in a park, one cookout at someones house and I've wheeled it outside in my backyard a few times to sit under a shady tree listen to music and sip my drinky drink 😂I LOVE this speaker. The sound is great, it czn play really loud. The bluetooth hookup works perfect and even the radio gets great reception!All those times we have used it so far... I've only charged it the one time when we first got it and it is STILL holding a strong charge.AND ... get this. . the first time we used it was at a picnic at the park when a sudden downpour happened. None of us thought of the speaker right away, we were just trying to cover up the food. By time anyone thought of it and put the speaker under a picnic table for cover, it had already been about 10 minutes. I for sure thought it was going to be ruined. But its fine! It was playing tuned,in the rain , under the picnic table perfectly and it has been perfect since then too.Value for the money. Oh and theres a bottle opener on the side 😂 lots of compliments and its the center of attention at parties as everyone wants to be the dj,hooking into the bluetooth to play thier music lol

I had received my unit but to find out that no sound came out. So being a tinkerer of things, I cracked it open and found that the line connecting to the Speaker was not in. It looked as if someone attempted to make it stick by using glue, which inevitably failed. It's an easy fix, but it shouldn't be an issue when buying tech. I could be wrong though because getting from point A to point B is never a smooth ride.

I couldn’t get here fast enough to leave a review... this speaker is Awesome! Stop searching and get this cinderblock, for the price range I’d be willing to bet there is nothing that can come close!Sound:max volume?! Yea right.. this thing is loud AF! The Bass is perfect and super clean for a 6” little woofer, the highs are crips and also loud AF, if anyone wants to turn this Bass Hog all the way up make sure you use the EQ on the face or in the app and turn the lows and mids down a bit, that’s the only thing I’d fear is having the lows/mids on 12 and turning it all the way up, might damage the speaker, not sure though I didn’t crank this brick to the top,Build:Build quality is great, very solid feel, the turn wheel is a liiiiittle wabbly but not bad at all, feels good when I turn it so that’s good haha. The buttons click with a satisfying feel, you know, those buttons that just feel good to push? Like that. The luggage handle feels sturdy too and the wheels roll smoother than a millennial looking for their friend Molly, roll so smooth.Battery life:Sorry y’all, have to wait for an update, I just got it but don’t worry, I’ll be back to update about the battery life.Battery life update:I ducky charged the battery the day I got it (March 24th 2021) today is April first, I’ve used this speaker all day when I’m home, for TV and music, I’ve had the volume cranked and I still have 2 battery bars, this Hot Boom brick more battery life than Robo cop! Idk when it will die, but so far I haven’t had to charge it in over a week. A+++Conclusion:My fair Dudes, Dudettes and everyone on the spectrum, cop this roller derby ready bass cube, you won’t regret it. At least I didn’t.Happy shopping, happy listening, happy life!-Ian
