I was lucky to get a nearly perfect color match on the first try, I recommend buying more than one color or even dying them to match your color better so that it looks more realistic. The strands are soft, but they do get kinda stringy after using them a lot. I normally wash them with shampoo and conditioner, then spray them with a leave in conditioner to help keep the color vibrant and keep them looking/feeling soft. I bought a pack of two and ended up straightening the strands on one of them so that I could have two different styles. They are very easy to use and the results look really cute.
