Beautiful Mandelas!
I love this book. I'm 66 years old and disabled so I can't do much, but I do enjoy coloring these mandellas. Each one is so beautiful and no two are the same. I wish I could show the pictures, but I don't know how to do that. The only thing I wis that the pages were perforated so I could remove them easily, but my husband cuts them out for me with an exacto razzor tool and I'm able to frame and hang my art work. You should try this book if you like coloring mandellas. You will love it. I plan on buying a few more books when my social security check let's me. Oh you can use pencils, crayons, markers, colored pens and one off my favorites brush pens. All purchased from amazon.

Felt pens do bleed through but I still love it!
I picked this up on a whim at WalMart, along with a set of Bic markers. Started out that night coloring a full-page picture, getting to know the markers and how the colors go together. A week later, I've done nine of these pictures. I'm addicted! I've attached a few to give you an idea of the intricacy of some of the pictures. Some are so finely drawn that I probably won't be able to color them with markers unless I enlarge them on my photocopier but most are a great size.I was at the mall Christmas shopping last evening and a vendor said to me, "You look so happy. Your smile is making me happy." I've never seen the woman before in my life; it was just a spontaneous comment but it got me thinking that all this coloring has gotten my creative juices flowing again and is a very good thing for me.I can't recommend these books enough, but must warn that despite the thicker paper stock, felt pens do bleed through. I have a piece of thin cardboard between the page I'm working on and the page behind it.

Mostly great pictures but there is some bleeding through
Really love doing the larger pictures but there are several that are too fine or just too small to easily colour - at least using felt pens (even fine-tipped felts). If you use felt pens (I've been using Bic Mark-it pens) there is substantial bleed-through to the next page but that can be fixed by putting a sheet or two of paper between the pages. Also, I would love this book if there was perforations along the binding so you could tear your masterpieces out with a nice straight edge.Despite these points, I'm very much enjoying this new pastime. I used to love Doodle Arts as a kid in the 70's and these are just as good!
